What is all the hype about?
Felt like a Maccas run where I ended up paying 5x the price. Very average tasting burgers. The setting inside is McDonald'ish, which is ok for a fast food chain but not for these prices! A burger, shake and side of fries will cost you $40+. Not worth it.

I previously had heard of this place numerous times with great reviews and as I visited the first time the hype lived to tell the tale. The service was absolutely fantastic as each employee was incredibly helpful and happy to chat with.

The food was the best fast food I've probably had. I can't fault this place.

Overall the atmosphere of Five Guys Melbourne is very comfortable and inviting. Can't wait to go back

I would rather wait for Wendy's.

After giving them the benefit of the doubt, my order was messed up for the 3rd time visiting.

I would rather get a bigmac from MacDonalds. Atleast they know how to cater for customers.

Literally looks like a mess shoved in 2 ugly as pieces of stale buns.

Save your money and time. There are way better establishments that charge less for the whole meal.

They've never had cheese for the last 2 times I've wasted my money on their complete utter rubbish burgers.

Expensive but good old taste we have always loved.fresh and original…star down since the fries were not as awesome as those we ate in London or Dubai…

I ate the first Fiveguys in Paris, France. It's so happy to be able to eat it in Melbourne. The price is not cheap.comepare with other burger shops. Two drinks, two cheeseburgers and a large chip cost almost $70. But if you like a cheesy and meaty tasting burger, you can give it a try.

Unlike the many other people who complained about the prices, I don’t think the prices were all that bad considering how expensive other burger joints have gotten in the last 6 months.

My complaint is around the burger. The buns must’ve just been defrosted prior to our arrival, it was soggy and cold in the middle of the bun. The rest of it was quite good - the patties and bacon were excellent and so were all the toppings. I feel it would be good to let customers know which option comes with one or two patties. I felt that the two patties with all the toppings were unnecessary, but I wasn’t aware the burger came with two patties.

The shake was delicious we got chocolate, peanut butter and Oreos.

And the chips were okay - a bit cold, tasted alright though.

I also had food poisoning that afternoon, didn’t eat or drink anything else that whole day, so I think it could’ve potentially been the bun or maybe I developed a lactose intolerance since the coffee I had the previous day.

I’d recommend this joint to try, but wouldn’t be a repeat customer for sure.

Staff were very friendly, well explained how should I order my burger Got a little cheese burger, really don’t know how to combine the ingredients to make the burger delicious. Bread was soggy (otherwise I will rate 4 stars).
Drinks was refillable. However, if you can drink much soda, like me, it doesn’t worth it.
Way too many tissues, it’s not very sustainable

I heard a lot of things about Five Guys so I decided to try it.
I bit disappointed by the Burgers, overall overpriced for the taste and the ingredients in my opinion.

The fries fried in peanuts oil were surprisingly one of the best fries I've had in Australia, as a Belgian fan of fried I know what I am. Talking about

The best of the best! I was so excited to taste these burgers again after first having it in London some years ago! I was happy to see the Australian branch has carried on the rest of the branches. Fast, juicy, mountains of toppings and refillable drinks! Had to go twice in our Melbourne trip.

Great burgers, good value for money if you want a tasty quality burger. People complaining about the price don’t understand quality, your not getting a McDonalds style burger, it’s gourmet and tailored to your liking

Expensive but I can't say I didn't really enjoy it. Fries were delicious, I would return for those alone, $22 for the cheeseburger, steep but very enjoyable. But I would rather pay more and walk away relishing the quality, totally sated. Most people mark down for price, scrutinising other aspects more critically than they otherwise would. I can't afford $30 burger and chips regularly, but when I feel like a good burger, I'll be back there.

If you want a fastfood burger, this is as good as it gets. Better than the big boys for sure. Very good, fresh and tasty. The peanut butter shake is the way to go. Only drawback, is that it is expensive.

Food is top notch. Quality and quantity of food is great. Single burgers are quite filling on its own and you will get more fries than you expect. Plus free soft drink refills.

Service does not fall behind. Staff taking orders was incredibly pleasant, patient and kind. I also got offered an additional patty on my burger since they had an extra one on the grill.

It is a bit expensive for fast food but portions make up for it. Only complaints here is the floor incline and no baby changing tables in the restrooms.
