Fishtales Cafe reviews
41Great friendly service and an extensive menu! Large serving sizes. Catered to food intolerances. Definitely pay a visit.
Great little breaky find fully loaded egg and bacon coffee is okay a little weak on flavour but otherwise if travelling good spot to have breaky
Nice, bubbly waiters, good food, and plenty of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not many places I can think of in Warrnambool which offer all three.
Bad experience overall. The food tasted bad - so bad our child who normally almost inhales seafood wouldn't go near the food after a bite, it was expensive for what you got and the service wasn't great. Very disappointing visit.
Great big breakfast. Well cooked bacon just how I like it. Filling and delicious. Nice coffee too.
Due to 6th lockdown, couldn't sit down for breaky. But take away was still spot on. Food was on point. Coffee was also hot and tasty
Fishtales is the only thing that gets me up in the morning:) Delicious food & beautiful staff. Highly recommend the Bryan's Brekky wrap with extra sauce (a household favourite)
Needed a good coffee before the drive home and this warm and friendly place was open early. Served great coffee and breakfast. They also have a pay it forward jar which I really liked. Extensive menu and nice place to hang out if you have time.
Absolutely brilliant. The best falafel/vegie wrap we ever had. The fluffiest potato cakes ever. The fish cake was delicious. The hot chips had a nice spice salt added and the service was impeccable. Well done. Next time we are in Warrnambool straight to Fishtales for lunch
Good food, service very very poor. After 15 mins had to call them to even take order and then wait 30 mins for breakfast to arrive on table, that too after reminder. Excuse is - it's a long weekend
Very friendly staff, delicious Croissants, very nice Pancakes.
Good atmosphere, great value.
Definitely recommend!
Lovely staff and great food despite being incredibly busy on a Sunday morning! Thanks for a great breakfast ️
I've gone here quite a few times in the last 15years and my most recent visit was actually a great indicator of how fantastic their staff and service is. Food was great service was great and the waiters were happy and really interactive. Loved it. Thank you.
Great food and great staff. Everything looks perfect. Staff were nice, friendly. We were 5 and ordered carrot cake, lamb wrap, Coffee. We got the wrap in plate, cold served but we asked to do it in oven for 1 min. After that it was supperr dupper. Can´t wait to go again. Love this cafe on warrnambool. 100/100.
One of the best cafes serving breakfast dishes all day long. Their breads were fresh and flavorful. Pancakes, sandwiches, juices were all great. Very busy and popular place for all the good reasons
I have specifically taken detours on trips to visit Warrnambool to go to Fishtales. It is always delightful with friendly staff and a warm, ocean atmosphere. The Brekky wrap is easily my favourite.
Great place to be. Nice and friendly staff. Enjoyed a lot. Had a great breaky. Enjoyed lamb and chicken wrap. Carrot cake was super duper awesome. Cannot wait to be there again in Warrnambool.
Nice place to be.
Nice atmosphere but my last visit as I'm gluten free & the soy they use I can't risk, or I will be instantly ill.
We were here to grab a quick bite on our way to Adelaide. We were a bit intimidated by the menu, which offers a crazy amount of choices. We had Bruschetta (a bit unusual in that it was a bit messy but quite good) Falafel Burger (Falafel a bit dry, super olives, very good feta), yummy Chicken wrap and Blue grenadier fried with a sweet potato fritter, both of which were really very nice. So, were pleasantly surprised by the quality despite the huge menu and we were even more pleasantly surprised by the small prize of it all.
Huge menu. Great vegan options. We ate here twice during our visit. We ate a late lunch and the restaurant was pretty empty. We shared the veggie burger and Mediterranean plate - everything was so good and fresh! The next morning we went in for breakfast and the restaurant was packed. I ordered the tofu scramble, and the servings we're much smaller than expected (compared to the servings the day before) under seasoned, and mediocre (not by any means bad, just not up to the day before's expectations). The smashed avo with toast was just a 1/4 whole avo and a dry piece of toast. Presentation was lacking too. After asking three times for water, I had to get up and ask the guy behind the till and waited there until he got me a bottle. I didn't trust the "I'll bring it out to your table" anymore. Granted, almost every table was full, but breakfast was such a let down.
