31Didn't give the right change then uncooked food and could understand the them because they were screaming at me in there own language
Went in bought some food for $10.40 the Asian person gave me the wrong change and then said I was wrong so then I showed her some simple non Asian maths equations and then she greased me off and gave me my correct change
I then got my food and the chips tasted like paper and they were cold the best part about eating this was the big turd I took after it.
They will mess up your order every single time. Not by a little, by a lot. You repeat the order 3 times and you'll still get the wrong thing. But don't you worry, they won't stuff up charging you! Even if you're a local who visits once a week they'll chase you down the street for 40c. Money hungry and rude. Some weird power struggle between the 2 old dudes who work there too. The fish is really fresh though.

This place was the best. Came back 3 years later, and i was looking foward to it but Fish Eyes has really changed for the worst. Besides the fresh fish the food is disgusting and the oily smell is unbearable. Had two bites of my salmon fillet and blue granadea fish, both tasted like burnt oil. Very expensive. Below avarge food. Will never go back. Very sad! It was a good eatery.
Not your money's worth. Feel quite disappointed by the grilled fish, which not only tasted oily but also smelt disgusting. My husband didn't even eat his food because it tasted so bad. And I am yet to understand why gloves weren't used while handling food!? Seriously?
Great fish and chip shop, fresh fresh aswell no oil taste after eating and prices were a bit high but it was worth it will be back again

Abit more on the expensive side, however due to its quality. Its a price well paid.
Our first night in Melbourne on our way to FN Queensland. Had a great meal of fish n chips. Peter and his crew are excellent operators and congrats to each of them. Just like a well oiled machine. Peter has a great charisma and hot looks. Every success to each of you. If we get to Melbourne again we will drop in for another great meals.

Wish I could give 0 stars.everything was burnt, chips were cold straight away, fish tasted dirty and no potatoes in the potatoe cakes! Called management and got yelled at and hung up on multiple times by the business owner.
Good quality and fresh. Fish is very good, and hamburgers are the best for miles around. Need to watch orders though as sometimes they get it wrong, but quality makes up for the inconvenience.
