First National Real Estate Latrobe

Didn't really have the best experience with the team here at First National. While buying an IP, after the offer was verbally accepted the seller's agent came back and said that there was some miscommunication between him and the Vendor and the asking price is 2.5K more or no deal. Having proceeded, we then signed up for their property management services - honestly, felt that they were on the side of the renters - hesitant to increase rent, and during the 12 months with them they did not carry out even a single inspection or held the renters accountable for truely making a mess of the place. Comms were always terrible, and I honestly had no choice but to move away from them and since have been much happier. Maybe it was just one particular seller's agent or one particular property manager, but I will now stay away from First National across Australia.

Sold our block of land with Simon burns and we are not very impressed. Was very hard to contact always going to message bank and hardly ever returned calls, Had a lot of people fall through (which is not his fault) but he said he didn’t have much interest then I put it on Facebook and more than 30 people enquired and people off Facebook actually brought it. All he did in the end was paper work and when it finally sold he never even rang us to thank us for using him nor did he even call to congratulate us on the sale and settlement of property. It felt like he wasn’t very interested as it was just a block of land and wasn’t going to make as much money as a house sale. I will never use him again and I will definitely not be recommending him.

Be careful when purchasing properties within Traralgon through FNL as there's a chance one of them has serious water damage to a specific room.
I've attached photos of the condition one of the rooms was in before the owner had the carpet fully removed and painted the wall. Since we're coming up to the dry season you may not notice just how much water this room has come into it due to poor maintenance and construction.

Helpful͏ and Knowledgeable
Brad was really helpful in making our house hunting stress free. He allocates his time to attend the house inspection in our own choice of time. He is on time and has plenty of knowledge about the history of the house. You can contact him any time of the day and was happy to answer all our queries. He went out his way above and beyond to convinced the seller to accept our price offer including our conditional terms. His work ethics is exemptional. Thank you Brad for helping us. May you continue to help others achieved to buy their dream house.

Racquel Dickson and the team at First National Real Estate Latrobe were incredibly personable, professional and helpful in assisting me with my property purchase, providing advice and answering any questions in a prompt and friendly manner, making my experience a positive and enjoyable one.
