I love this Cafe, I've been coming here on & off for years & it's been consistently excellent food & beverage as well as friendly staff. It's cosy, clean & stylish with plenty of spots to tuck into if your solo cafeing or larger tables for social cafeing. Always impressed here!

Like you cannot judge a book by its cover, do not judge Fifteen Pounds Cafe by what it looks like from outside.

As soon as you walk in, you'd realise the cafe has a busy lively vibe and has massive seatings including their lovely backyard.

Food-wise, the portions are generous and their most popular hash stack was amazing. Chilli scrambled eggs with Chorizo was a bomb of course. Just be mindful of their weekend and public holiday surcharges.

The staff were all smiley, friendly and very helpful and prompt with their services as well.

Very slow service. More than 10 minutes to make a latte, had to leave it because would’ve missed me train. There were only 3 people ahead of me so I’m rather disappointed since it should only take 1-2 minutes per coffee, and multiple can be made at once.

Adjusted stars, based on kind reply. But given this is my only experience of this cafe I cannot fairly judge it to be better than average given that it was a very quite morning for dine in also.

Recommend by a friend. A short drive from the city for breakfast. Well worthwhile. Great food and service. Would definitely go back.

Well now that I've eaten here everywhere else taste like prison food.

Had the chilly eggs, coming back for the hash stack.

If it came down to it, I would push a child into a puddle to get a seat here.

Visited a number of times for breakfast over the past week while staying nearby. Good coffee and great Shakshuka that’s up there with the best I have ever had!

When your having a good day, the best service and over loaded with something hot and black inside you, this is the place. Awesome coffee and the food? I think you should visit and judge for yourself.

Wonderful little cafe great barista coffee & hearty brekky. Their coffee always hits the spot. They have ‘on the go’ Brekky options too if you are in the morning rush. If you need a sugar hit, their muffins & cookie selection won’t disappoint.

Lovely meal in delightful setting. Meal was delicious. My only concern is tables are very close together.

Nicely presented, well portioned and extremely delicious Monday morning brekkie! Good value for money and very attentive and kind service.
Their creation of smashed avo was new to me, there was a lot of salmon on the plate too and the matcha latte warmed me up.
Will be coming back!

Great food and service, really nice outdoor area mostly undercover, inside can be a bit noisy though.

Updated from 4 to 5 stars. Coffee is amazing, don't know how they make it so tasty and creamy (soy fw) and fills up my keep cup. The service is usually friendly and chatty, occasionally a little abrupt or not interested (which is probably why I gave 4 stars a couple of years ago). Food always tasty and creative.

Great cafe and the food is always good. Inventive selections that go beyond the standard cafe fare.

This place knows it’s coffee and customer service. I happen to be in a job that allows me to travel around metropolitan Melbourne. This means I get to sample a number of cafes and restaurants. I happened to come across this place and had to have a second coffee. Food was a little bit pricey. Staff were very attentive and friendly which meant I did not have to wait for long for my second coffee. Great job guys

Loved the polenta and mushroom dish! The coffee is good here and a nice pitstop if you catch the train from Fairfield.
