Ferntree Thai Restaurant

I ordered yellow vegetable curry and roti with homemade peanut sauce. I didn’t receive the peanut sauce so had plain roti and the yellow curry was so thin and watery it was more like a soup. First time I have ordered from this restaurant and was really disappointed

Great food, good portions, Pad Kee Mao was amazing, Stir Fry Basil and Chilli was also delicious! The thai green curry was good, but was a bit too sweet and mild for my liking, partner enjoyed it thoroughly though! Service was excellent, very quick cooking time, was in and out less than 45 mins which was perfect as we were in a hurry.

First time, not the last! My Thai colleague recommended Ferntree Thai and I see why! Beautiful restaurant, quick service and delicious food

The food I received was cold and the restraint didn’t include 2 of our dishes. I would not recommend this terrible restaurant to anyone.

I had experience here again. It’s still nice, especially chicken skewers, golden bags and basil and chili stir fry. Yum!

Fantastic little place. We will be back. We had a fantastic meal, service was lovely and food was delicious. We had Pad Thai, green curry and chicken satay skewers. We were there late, so we were the only people there. Thanks for a great dinner.

If you’re looking for excellent Thai food, this is where to come. Portions are generous, ingredients are fresh, flavour is incredibly authentic - like we were back in Thailand! Some of the best satay we’ve had. Service also excellent and prices extremely reasonable. We’ve ordered both dine in and take away and has been fantastic every time. Highly recommend!

We had the Red Duck Curry, the Yellow Curry with chicken (with sides of jasmine and coconut rice), the Tom Yum Soup and Satay Chicken Skewers for entree.
We barely had to wait for our meals, it was three of us and the servings were generous enough to share. Special mention to the skewers and the red duck curry.
The decorations, furniture and tableware contributed to the nice atmosphere.
Would definitely go back, and recommend.

If you are a vegetarian like me, it maybe hard to eat here. The so called vegetarian fried rice and Pad thai that I ordered had a strong seafood scent. When I called and gave my feedback, they were least empathetic. Simply said they can’t use special equipment to prepare vegan meals.

Just moved to Ferntree Gully recently, desperately for a Thai food. Stop by at this restaurant near the station. Surprisingly their food is quite authentic and tasty. Had the Beef Massaman Curry, its creamy and rich in flavor. I reckon its the best one around here. The service is absolutely beautiful as well. Will come back another time to try their stir-fried dishes.
