Enjoyed a relaxing and quiet lunch with relatives. All the dishes are beautifully presented and taste delicious. We had our wine tasting done at our table which was fabulous. I like the ambiance as it was quite so we could all chat and relax. Comparing to other winery restaurants their prices are more affordable as well. Will definitely come back again.

In the process of choosing a wedding venue, we only did one tour and immediately knew – Fergusson Winery was the one for us!

Sara and Sarah are a fantastic team – from day one they were welcoming and happy to work with us to design our perfect wedding. We loved the versatility of planning our ceremony on the lawn but having the stunning barrel room as a back up if the weather didn’t go to plan. The stunning vineyards were a beautiful backdrop for our photos and many of our guests complimented the delicious food and the wine, with one guest buying a case of wine to take home!

Sarah went over and above to ensure that we had an amazing day, at the end of the journey Sarah felt more like a friend than a vendor and we’re so grateful she was on our wedding team.

Thank you Sarah, Sara and the broader team at Fergusson for a once in a lifetime celebration, we’ll treasure it forever.

My partner and I had our wedding at Fergusson Winery in November. The venue's atmosphere, the food and service from Events Coordinator Sarah and all staff on the day were outstanding. Sarah was attentive, responsive, positive and enthusiastic throughout the planning process, and she accommodated all our requests for the day (even the more unusual ones!) with total ease.
We were very impressed with the quality of the food and wine, with some of our guests describing it as "the best wedding food" they've had!
We had 135 people in the restaurant seated over 14 tables (including the wedding party table) and space for a dancefloor. While the space was very comfortable when everyone was seated during meals and mingling around the room, the dancefloor space was a touch small for the number of guests, and the dancefloor got a bit heavily crowded at times. We were lucky to have good weather, so some of our guests chose to spill outside and mingle on the deck after the formalities, or move to the Barrel Room, which was set up as a chill-out space.
We were very happy with our choice of Fergusson Winery to hold our wedding, and thank Sarah and the team at Fergusson for a beautiful and seamless celebration.

Fergusson Winery is better than the photos look! I recently officiated a marriage ceremony in their barrel room, then attended the reception in their restaurant (function space).

The food was delicious. The staff were friendly.

De’Vine Escapes is located 150 metres from the entrance, perfect on site accommodation.

The moment we arrived at Fergusson, we knew we were in for a treat. The stunning drive up to the restaurant got us excited for what was to come.

We were welcomed by staff who were incredibly friendly and knowledgable (you can tell they love what they do).

Every dish my partner and I tasted was followed by a moment of silence, and a large grin. The food was executed with outstanding technique and finesse. We came for the restaurant experience but I can only imagine what the venue is like for Weddings.

I recently had my wedding at Fergusson Winery and would absolutely recommend this venue to everyone looking to celebrate their special day. The wedding coordination team, in particular Sarah (our on the day and lead up coordinator) were so easy to communicate with and were so knowledgeable in helping us create our dream wedding. The team on the day were also great and nothing was too much of an ask! The atmosphere of the barrel room was beautiful (we had 55 guests with plenty of room for a dance floor), the grounds were well kept and plenty of space for people to explore the beautiful vineyards and gardens. Would highly recommend Fergusson Winery.

Friendly staff and hostess. We opted for the 2 course dinner which was refreshing, not too heavy and had good flavours. Wines were good and beautiful views from dinner halls

I was very disappointed with Fergusson Winery. We celebrated my son's birthday there and the service was disappointing. Main food was forgotten, no drink servers were provided (even though they claimed there would be), we lost a full hour of our drinks package after being told that they were serving a wine tour, food allergies were disregarded and there was a substantial lack of food. I was promised a partial refund and 2 months later, the refund still has not been received. Absolutely appalling! I would not recommend a function at Fergusson Winery.

Staff are very attentive and helpful for the event. Food was rich and delicious. There are no microphones at the venue, so we brought our own and there were no issues using our own PA equipment and devices.

Pleasant winery and restaurant with great surrounds. Not too far from Melbourne CBD makes for a leisurely weekend lunch. There are options for 3 course meals as well as wine tasting with matching cheese platters. Great for large or small groups with in door and out door seating. Bookings essential to avoid disappointment. The grounds are pleasant to roam around with scattered seating.

Food was excellent, the ingredients were super fresh! We got a view of the vineyards and it was very quiet.

We had lunch at Fergusson's and it was absolutely wonderful.the food was gorgeous and we were completely looked after by Sarah, she was tentative, friendly, professional, and made the experience memorable.

Fergusson Winery is an amazing wedding venue! Right from the start it was easy to envisage our special day at Fergusson and the fairy lights give the Barrel Room that extra magical touch. The Barrel Room was perfect for our Reception and our guests had a lot of fun. The food at the venue is amazing and the staff were wonderful right from out first engagement with Fergusson (particularly Sara and Sarah who answered any questions we had along the way).

I celebrated my birthday milestone in the Barrel Room with 26 people of my closest friends. Food, service and the venue space was perfect and I consider myself someone who needs to have it done right. The team at Fergusson did just that. May I add that the food and sparkling was particularly raved about in conversation. Thank you so much.

The menu read well, and the venue was lovely. The meals we ordered were quite nice, however, the wait was very long, and the portions were tiny. The staff, although pleasant, were quite unattentive. We sat with empty glasses, and dirty dishes for the duration of our time there. Has the potential to be much better.

Stopped by yesterday for a glass (or 2) of wine and we were advised the cellar door was not open due to lack of staff. We did however get a bottle of wine with some glasses and sat outside. The wine was lovely (Pinot Grigio) & the waitress could not have been kinder. We would love to return and have happily found a new local wine to enjoy.

My wife and I recently got married at Fergusson Winery in early December and the venue was absolutely gorgeous and accommodating. We had booked the venue in early 2021 with the old owners. When the venue changed hands mid 2021, Sara was quick to communicate with us. Fergusson honoured our contract with the old owners which we greatly appreciated. Sara the wedding specialist was so attentive to the lead up to our wedding. She was always willing to answer our many questions. On the day Sarah the wedding coordinator was amazing. From the ceremony in the chapel to the end of reception she made sure that everything went smoothly and on time. Everyone loved the food and was impressed. It was presented beautifully and you could tell they put the same care in it as they do for a normal service. Our guests were raving about how amazing the venue was. There were many options they gave us to really make the space our own. We actively sought out a winery that was family run and we would highly recommend Fergusson Winery. The effort and attention to detail that they provided was out of this world. Thanks again to the team at Fergusson for making our wedding such a great day!

We visited this winery for lunch yesterday. We had a booking. But the waitress told us that they didn’t have us on their booking list. We provided booking confirmation and she contacted the manager. The manager offered us a table outside. We accepted this despite it being a very hot day as we didn’t have any other option.
The table was not cleaned and it was not set up. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned. We placed our order at 1.30 pm. We received our entree at a reasonable time. But had to wait 2 hours for main course to arrive.
By this time we were hungry and feeling the heat of the hot summer sun without any shade.
The manager did not consider to offer a table inside when their other guests finished.
After waiting 2.5 hours; we were told that the dessert we ordered was out of stock.
Adding to this; we found the food had minimal taste, overly salty and overly oily.
We were not given napkins, but when asked; gave us one napkin for both of us to use.
We found this restaurant to be run down in it’s exterior with artificial plants everywhere. We found the staff were unwelcoming and rude.
The winery was rundown with no upkeep where grass was overgrown. They had a play area for children, but was also run down and not safe to be used by kids.
Such a disappointment and was one of our worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.
We came home disappointed and unhappy. What a way to end the year!

Beautiful venue and lovely staff waited on us. Was lovely to have linen on the table and great view of vineyard.
We were a little disappointed with food portions especially after checking out pics from other reviews. Two scallops for an entree seemed a little sad.
Pleased with the menu options perhaps we lucked out a little on the day.
