Federation Square reviews
66The heart of Melbourne, Federation Square is a well designed large public space right on the Yarra River
Always a happening place. Whenever you feel bored, you can spend sometime.
Metro tunnel work is going on at the moment.
Amazing Place, definitely a must see for Melbourne. I take all my overseas visitors here. Futuristic designed building ahead of its time. Most people don't like it at first, but when they walk around, see the atmosphere and vibe, they fall in love.
Gingerbread village is just too good. It looks amazing, they gave made all Melbourne landmarks here. A must see.
First time to Melbourne? Go to Federation square. Wanted to enjoy a big screen for big sporting events? Go to Federation square. Chilling out with friends for celebrating festive holidays? Go to Federation square. It will never let you down.
New year eve celebration 2019 with huge fireworks & live music. Though crowd was big, but all enjoyed.
Always something happening at Federation Square. Easy access via city trams and trains. Walking distance to city attractions and river. Centrally located. Plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes as well as interesting laneways.
Such a cool place to chill and watch something on the huge public screen! Always something happening here.
Love this place! Great meeting-spot. The architecture is pretty damn awesome and a must see when in Melbourne
This polish festival is set i the heart of the city offering you a chance to dive in to see some history and to hear traditional polish music and see some traditional dancing after that you can head down to the food trucks where you can eat some traditional food ranging from pierogi to zapankanki
Always something to do here.check out the free exhibitions around Fed Square, there's a big TV screen there that often shows some cool movies and there are deck chairs provided. If there's a special event on like watching a sports game get there early. There're also some magicians which you can enjoy but that occurs on wekkends and occasionally can be any time.
It's Melbourne's central public space, beautiful. Good food good wine, public cinemas.if you're coming to Melbourne, don't miss it.
Great meeting point for someone that is not familiar with the melbourne CBD. Getting a little outdated with all the technology at the square.
Perfect meet up location for local tours, or with your friends. Explore inside the building. Stylish exterior design. Opposite St. Paul's Cathedral.
Amazing place to enjoy and relax as lot of cultural and group activities go on here. People come from different origins and cultural background and celebrate together. On few occasions, public screenplay for footy matches would be displayed.
A vibrant public space next to the train station. Easy to reach by tram as well. A dazzling display of color and geometry.
Federation Square is a must see whilst in Melbourne's CBD. Centrally located it has various exhibitions and galleries including a focus on Australian Art and Colonialism. There are free guided tours that tell you about the Federation of Australia. A variety of restaurants as well more casual food places.
An interesting concoction of a design that ate vast amounts of tax payers dollars and definately polarises people's opinions of what looks like what happens when you build leggo while cosuming acid. It's worth a frolick around if you've never visited but there's actually not that much to do in this area most of the time unless there's a gig / show on etc.
Free wifi, a huge TV to watch especially good when the Australian Open tennis is on to watch the games on. Lots of different food trucks catering to all different tastes in food. Easily accessible by being directly across the road from Flinders St station. Always lots of people around.
