Family Tea House

We came here for a work dinner the other night. The staff were so friendly and attentive. They offered puerh tea which we were really happy about! The crispy eggplant is amazing as well as the spring onion pancake. If you're able to get there a little earlier to catch happy hour, the prices are great too

Very bad customer service. The meat was not fresh, the taste was bad, and got a wrong food as well. Never come back again!

Absolute terrible, ordered through doordash at 9: 10pm and got a notice saying the order was cancelled at 10pm. Takes my money and my precious time after organising a movie night and we had to wait another hour to order which arrived at 11pm. I can't comment on the food but probably worth skipping if you are in Prahran or ordering delivery in the surrounding area.

Famous last words by management - if I eat raw or uncooked food I don’t get sick. They fed me dumplings that where frozen in the middle that they took back after I had swallowed half. Have made me so sick, dirty place. Do not eat here.

Amazing dumplings (the best on chapel street), good price and great friendly service. Will be back again.

Food and service is good, parking is tricky, better off to park in paid carparks, inspectors abound!

The people are really lovely. Unfortunately the food is not that great. It's also very pricey for its ordinariness. On top of that they charge a hefty surcharge for credit card payments. More than other shops.

This is the BEST dumpling restaurant anywhere! I always make sure i visit when in Melbourne. The other dishes are excellent as well! Great hidden gem of a restaurant. Go and try all the yum cha on the menu!

Excellent restaurant, I visit every time I am in town. Home made dim sims to dream about. Try the salt and pepper squid so perfect. Wonderful host in Michael. You will not regret visit and will return.

Had the dimpling selection plate this time. It has about 6 different dumplings with a couple of one so is great for sharing.

We stumbled across this place whilst strolling down Chapel St, during the sweltering heat 5 Jan. It fulfilled my week long craving for Yum Cha that I came back again the next day to try the rest of the menu. This is one of the few places that serves white wine properly chilled, they deserve another star just for that!
