Family Tea House

We had my Nana's 91st birthday here, and I couldn't praise the staff enough with how friendly and attentive they were during our service. All the food was delicious and we were given complimentary fruit at the end, I highly recommend this restaurant for small and large gatherings alike.

The portion is small, the salt and pepper tofu has no salt, the xiaolongbao is sour and has been stored for a long time, and the seafood tofu soup is only a small bowl. It sucks to be honest

Decent food but the waiter took my drink away when there was abit left! Not happy but didn’t say anything

This restaurant used to be ok, I’m not sure what happened, it has gone down hill from food to service. Very disappointed

For myself, I think the chef cooks very beautifully.
The only problem is the sauce was too light.
Maybe should consider adding some more seasoning. Some items are bitted slightly more expensive than other restaurants.
In general, I will come back again.

Wow! Celebrated my 51st Birthday in style. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so warm & friendly. I was in so impressed with the great Singapore noodles along with the dumpling which were die for. Thank you Family Tea House and we will definitely be back with the family & friends. Definitely number 1 for food quality & service when it comes to Chinese cuisine.

The food was not very fresh and delicious. We ordered one Kongbao chicken and beef with black beans. Both are not very good!

I would never come back again, I don’t think the owner even ever been to high quality yum cha restaurants himself /herself, the food not fresh, I believe they cook frozen packaged food, the environment is dirty. Highly recommend anyone who wants real yum cha go to China town

Food was great but prices were very high for the vibe of the restaurant. If you eat here though get the sweet and sour chicken! It’s insanely good!

They took our order and charged us at 8.30pm and then did not deliver and could not be contacted. Now we have no dinner and it remains to be seen whether they will refund us. Absolute fraud.

Was ok again food. Barramundi in xo wasn't xo. Fried noodles were nice. BBQ meats also decent. Yum cha dumpling skin too thick.

Best fried rice I’ve had in Melbourne. Love the chilli beef and mall tofu! Very authentic Chinese restaurant.

My favourite Yum Cha before I left the area a year ago. Revisited last Sunday to find better than ever. A large range of delicious dim sum. Thoroughly recommended.
