Exford Hotel reviews
43Great spot for beers after work. Quite low-key with a backpacker vibe. Multiple pool tables and decent prices. Check out upstairs if downstairs is full because there's a lot of space! Great pizza snacks too.
Do not rely on this venue when it comes to organising tickets to an event. I rang up earlier in the day to confirm getting tickets on the door and was told it would be fine, only to travel a long distance, arrive early and be turned away at the door.very disappointed and a spoilt night.
Reviewing hostel: bathrooms dirty and broken, kitchen filthy and smelly underground room, bedroom furniture old and wobbly, not enough and poorly placed sockets, the staff were friendly enough but not forthcoming with info or very bothered. On the upside, a decent, well priced pub with good pizza and a good location for eating cheaply in Chinatown. Overall preferred other hostels in Melbourne
Really cool place, stayed here for a couple nights. They got a big ole kitchen for guests and a dope bar just downstairs
Accidently stumbled across this bar on the way to dinner & i can say it was a great little bar with a fantastic footy vibe. $5 Stella Artois was just the cherry on top! Staff were great & service was fast paced. I will be back again!
Great hostel to stay at if you're on a budget, the rooms are very clean and presented nicely and the staff were very friendly
Not a bad little place to catch some Z's. The fact you have to hire towels and make your own bed was a damper. My room window was broken and held open by a bottle on a string. Needs some TLC but a great budget atmosphere for the minimal needs
Nice hotel with an bar and in the mittel of the city. For a backpackerlife the perfekt hotel cheap and clean with an kitchen and tv room.
Shot to the bartender who served me some "green wine" on our bucks party. Worked a treat!
Good space upstairs to use like ballroom for dance lessons or social dance. Maybe I miss an aircon a little stronger
I love this place, the way they combine the alcohol shop with the bar makes it an all in one. They also have a coin pool table which in my case is a necessity
Wasn't a fan of the smell but the dude at the bar was so cool and really funny, made me feel at home and not as awkward.
Very nice place for a drink or a local pub meal. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is amazing with decent size meals. Huge variety of drinks and alcohol, it's always good to have places like this who still have our favourite local beers on tap. Great location and the atmosphere is just on point. They've got live sports on most times. They have a l local bottle shop in the actual hotel which is a great benefit.
Best pub in the CBD! Great drinks, great atmosphere, well secured, no drunks, great food and a great smoking area. What more could you want? Its even got a ghost! And he drinks there too.
Just your everyday kind of pub. Cheap drinks. Cheap food. Free pool which was good. Ambiance is what you kind of would get for such a place.
This is the best little real pub in Melbourne. No pretense, cold beer & good service. Oh & you can actually hear your mates talk too.
One of the best dives in Melbourne. Good location, bottle shop open very late, small (but varied) selection of draught beers. Pool tables and premium sports channels on TV, it's got everything you want for a late night stop.
Very nice hostel. Friendly staff, just loud on weekend evenings. If you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Good kitchen. Good wifi. Not brand new but clean.
Love the Exford. Staff are fun, jukebox with good music, cheap and tasty pizza and a killer smoker's area.
