Eva's Food and Cafe - Food Truck reviews
50I like the paani puri, the chai and the chaat that we got, tasted great, didn’t have to wait that long
We ordered dahi bhala, the taste is no where close to the actual one. Very poor quality and taste.
The malai chaap had no gravy and the rumali roti was a warmed up wrap. Too bad!
Below average food. Samosa’s were all burnt and had to throw them away. Had high expectations but am very disappointed.
The Samosa Chaat was extremely tasty and most of all the hospitality and service was very good!
Eva’s Food truck dishes are absolutely mouthwatering! From noodle burgers and momos to flavorful chole bhature and desserts, and the most fav khulad chai they have all types of food that will satisfy any craving. Also the best thing that i get to know that everything was veg.its really good bcz i’m vegetarian so that’s perfect for me to have some good food. Their service was also too good they didn’t take to long to give order. Every sunday i go their and have the amazing food.
It was great experience, we felt like indian chopatti we use to visit in India. We ordered momos and the best was kulhad chai, after 5 yrs of being in Melbourne, we finally found kulhad chai. Thank you so much Eva's mother.me and my husband loved their food, we tried for once but surely we are gonna visit again. I will recommend to everyone who love indian street/choppati food.
Great customer service and ossom food. Noodle burger and chaat was really yummy. Highly recommended
Only tried the aloo paratha and it’s very good and worth the wait.
However the pricing of some items on their menu seem quite expensive, given the ambience and level of complexity required to make the dish.
Yummy food but very expensive you need to lower your costs because times are hard for people. Thanks
Edit:
Visited them last night, it was the worse of worst experience ever. Food came half an hour late which was just one dish, definitely there was just one more customer and they took if they they were really really busy. Not worth the money I spent. It’s just a hype, spending about $16-18 for very less food is not worth it.
First of all, apology for the constructive feedback.
The place is overly priced considering the quantity served.
And honestly the food quality was also okay.
Definitely it was a first and last visit.
Very basic food, can prepare at home even better, too much price vage burger, mix chaat, not worth at all. Not recommended.
We visit worst place for food, I don’t why people visiting for food, not good quality, feeling yuck after eate, pls do not waste your money,
We ordered Kulche chhole and soya chap. Quantity was so less and quality was so poor. Did not like the taste at all for both dishes. Everything was overpriced I recon. Not recommend at all.
Forgot to take photos, tried aloo paratha, tasted like a real homemade food. No unnecessarily spices, perfectly cooked, friendly staff and good to see smilling faces.
*Price could have been a little better.
Higly recommended
The mixed pack of Pakoras. Always fresh and crispy. The family that runs the truck
are friendly.
Nice food and nice customer service.
Keep it up.
Ps. Quick advice - quantity needs be bit more.
Eva's Food and Cafe came to the Whittlesea Colour Carnival and catered to the crowd. The food was absolutely amazing. I tried the Chole Kulche and the Pakora Chaat and I was left wanting more. The food blew my mind and I will be eager to try it again soon.
Ordered their popular chole kulche. I asked for mild version but I got hot one which I didn’t mind eating as it was tasty and fresh but the quantity was as if I ordered a kids meal. Even the kids meal sometimes is quite filling but this being a food truck with high price tag, I certainly expected an at least a medium container adult size portion which was clearly not the case.
