Our protein had been killed twice! Both steak and chicken dishes were disappointing, tough and dry. Unfortunately you missed the bar.

What can I say, a romantic dinner or lunch a special occasion dinner and family at night a very special resteraunt for my God great food class 1. Service spot on the best lunch, and left you feeling very special, a true local in Geelong. Booking a must! The rib eye a must and the Empire Grill special coffee is a crowd pleaser and must, pineapple pork belly in a pineapple chutney mmmm! Yum Enjoy if you do make a booking.

Disapointed in beef cheek special. Am quite shore it wasn't cheek. Service great, flavours good but explanation of meat was poor attempt to cover up

Service was amazing from the moment we entered, and the food was some of the best we've ever eaten in Geelong. Ragu was tasty (and a large serve as an entree) and steak was tender and delicious. As a table of 15 though, we had a number of issues hearing the conversation across the table. This restaurant is perfectly romantic and would well suit a lovely date or a small intimate group of friends, but the restaurant is simply too large and noisy for a larger group. My partner and I will definitely be back for date night, nonetheless.

Good service, I love it when staff know their menu well & can advise you. Portion sizes ideal, attention to flavour, well presented.

On the weekend we celebrated my Mum’s 80th birthday at Empire Grill. We loved everything about the celebration, from the seemless event coordination to the delicious food and fabulous service. Many many thanks to all of the team.

Not really good, The steak was well-cooked and had a burnt smell, and when asked the waiter about this, she said it was normal. I'm so flustered.it's not the case with steaks from so many places. Only go once without looking back.the environment is only one nice things.

Beautiful food, friendly staff who were very accommodating when we arrived without a booking and a very talkative 5 year old in tow - thanks to the 2 young ladies who served us, you were amazing. Seriously I can't fault this place. Just Beautiful. Will definitely be eating here again when next visit Geelong. Thanks for the fabulous night.

Excellent service and the food was simply delicious. I eat a plant-based diet and there were options for me to choose from in every course. My omnivorous husband was impressed with the selection that suited his tastes, too. Comfortable, clean, pleasant music, an all-round enjoyable experience.

I have been dining at Empire Grill for over 30 years and never disappointed. The Duck and apple & rhubarb crumble was particularly good tonight. Thanks.

Food divine, hospitality exceptional and the restaurant itself so luxurious- as decadent as their food! The open fireplace and Chesterfield lounges are lively and they are keeping to covid restrictions indeed so luckily for us we got to dine in private area in their place and it was lovely. As was the choice of quietly played music whilst we ate! Their bread rolls even were delicious and next door to the hotel we are staying, Admiralty inn which too has been terrific so highly recommended each to be honest! Thank you!

It was stunning. The service was impeccable and the food was nothing shy of amazing. The atmosphere was cosy and romantic and I had the best night with my date. Will definitely be back.

Honestly, I have no idea how this place has a 4+ star. I could not remotelty justify the prices it charges. 40 bucks a main? ! Am I missing something here? Average pub meal at best and to cap it off, I actually forgot I had ordered my drink, it took so long to arrive.

Could not fault any of the meals we had here. Will definitely be back next time I'm back in Geelong. Stand out meal for myself was the cured kingfish entre

As before the ladies serving were absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious. The wine list is small and a little expensive.
