Elmore Bakery/Cafe

After many yummy cakes etc, last Thursday we bought a family size pastie. It was awful. Some cheap hard vegetable made up what seemed like 80 or 90 percent of the filling. Wife and I had one mouthful and put the whole lot in the bin.

A quick stop for a lunch treat for mum and cold fruit juice for me. Outdoor seating and a beautiful relaxed feeling.

Gave 5 stars for service, Great to talk to, Great food. Also bought train biscuit, family pastie, family quiche, and nut loaf, all beutiffully home made and tasty. Sincerely Leanne and Ken Scott.

Bought a chicken pie, only got thickened veg and gravy, still looking for the chicken pieces. Flavour was nice. Staff were brilliant!

First of all, such genuinely friendly service. Not often you get that anymore. Best iced donuts ive had! So light and fluffy, and generous size. Nothing like the stodgy cake ones you get from other bakeries, (including from the well known tourist bakery in my home town)
Got a Lamington sponge cake too, lovely fresh whipped cream and plenty of it on a sponge that clearly was baked today. Only regret was that we had already had lunch elsewhere. Definitely reccomend.

Best steak and kidney pie I, 've had this trip. (1st one). Coffee hot and strong. Was very busy people coming in the whole time I was there. Must be because the food is tremendous.

Food was reasonable. Wife had a pastie which had semi raw vegetables inside. My pie was mediocre 6 out of 10.

Beautiful pies, pastie and sandwich made to order. Coffees and Chai latte very good. Worth the drive out of Bendigo.

This is a really good bakery. There is a great range of hot pies, plus baked sweets for people of all ages. The sausage roll - 4.6 out of 5. The vanilla slice 4.5 out of five. In other words, bloody dang good! If you're close bye, definitely it's worth a visit

Pathetic.ordered 2 pies and 2 mini sausage rolls cost me $17 took the sausage rolls back for a refund as they were cold got $3 back so the pies must have been $7 each.bloody expensive for a small pie which was barely warm with 2 pieces of meat inside the rest being gravy. My advice keep driving.

very popular shop,
staff found to be friendly.
Shop when visited was clean, they ask people to use hand sanitiser.

Amazing bakery, great service and delicious pastries. Definitely stop in if ever near this bakery.

Excellent pie shop. Great crust, friendly service. Try the beef, beer, and chilli. A must stop if you love pies

The Drive Through Bakery at Nolan Street near Lake Weeroona, the best salad roll i've had in decades, beetroot, tomato, cucumber.and more absolutely delicious and refreshing. My New Goto Lunch.

Hot food was great as usual. Coffee and hot chocolate was made to perfection. Don't drive through Elmore without stopping at Elmore Bakery

Nice food but after waiting and being next to be served I was left waiting while they went and served others that should have been served after me.the store was not busy very disappointed so I put my drinks back and left without buying anything
