El Camino Cantina Fitzroy

Food was delicious and the service was fantastic, the staff were so attentive and friendly! It was a great first experience going out to eat after lockdown and I will be back again! My friends and I had such a great night!

We booked a table of 14 for a Saturday night, when we arrived they only had a table of 8 available. The manager didn't believe we booked for 14 and only tried to solve the problem once we showed proof of the booking. The food and drinks were super slow coming out and were not worth the price as the tacos were soggy, the fillings weren't fresh and the mango margarita was mostly pineapple juice. The music was so loud that you had to shout to be heard 2 people away. If i could give it 0 stars I would.

Definitely going back here on a day I don't need to drive to make the most of their amazing margarita range!

However the three tacos I ordered lacked freshness and flavour. It was almost soggy and too liquid with the sauce.

Drinks were alright but the younger staff was not friendly that night. They stood by the corner and gossiped about the customers which was not welcoming at all.

When we asked for some nachos and dips which is free, the girl sneered and stared at me for taking some. Definitely not a friendly host.

Over all, wouldn’t recommend for food.

The food was just ok, fast food standards, we were a group and the food arrived to the table so late for some people, also the food was on the table without cutlery, we had to share knives and forks to avoid eating with our hands, the cocktails are a joke, they are 90% ice cubes and taste like water with sugar, no mention for the price. The girl at the entrance (the host) always walking around the table giving us a bad face because she wanted us leaving soon, not a good experience at all. The only thing can save this place is the decoration and “free hats”. Don’t waste your money coming here.

Went the other night with a group of friends and loved the drinks and food! The tacos were super tasty and the frozen margaritas we had were so good! Pav and Sarah were superstars

The best place to enjoy with friends, who works there are really professional, friendly and nice people. Clara was amazing serving our table! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Thank you so much for your service!

Amazing food, fair price.

The food here is very mediocre- have had much better Mexican elsewhere! The famous Nerd cocktail (grape flavour) was yum but didn't actually look like the photos- there were no actual nerds on it. Staff were super friendly: D

We had the best time at El Camino Cantina. Avni was super attentive and accommodating! The best atmosphere! Definitely coming back!

Had such an amazing time! Luisa was taking care of us and we had such a great time, she was so lovely and it was excellent service, great food and drinks. We’ll be back for sure ️

I’d like to just come on here and say how grateful my friends and I were with the service tonight. A group of us came in tonight to celebrate a birthday and the night couldn’t have been better. The food, service and staff were 10/10. Special thanks to Claudia and her supervisor with the cool hair for looking after our table. We’ll definitely be back again.

Sasha what can i say, even though the kitchen was getting hammered sasha came through with the regular 5 minute water requests.

Loved the vibe here at el Camino. Bee was very helpful with everything. Leah made us laugh and have an awesome welcoming time. Will definitely be back!

I was there for my birthday and Avni made it worth it! She is really nice and would recommend having get togethers here! The drinks and food is prolly the best in melbourne!

Luisa was the most incredible waitress! Food came quickly and was delicious. Drinks were great too. Overall amazing service and I can’t wait to come back
