Eighteen Sixty

We came to 1860 two times already and I have to say the food and service is second to none! The staff are lovely and the orders came promptly. Not to mention the food was absolutely delicious. My family and I especially enjoyed the Sicilian apple cake and the fresh focaccia with ricotta. Definitely a spot worth visiting while in Nagambie!

We enjoyed the most beautiful dinner and wines at Eighteen Sixty while we were staying in Nagambie this weekend. My partner and I loved the service, ambience, extensive wine list and food that was full of flavour. We will definitely visit again when we next visit Nagambie.

Found 1860 by accident when stopping for lunch driving through Nagambie. An absolute winner.
Food was amazing, the share platter was wonderfully tasty and plenty for 2 to share.
Big thanks to Dom for her exceptional table service and personality and to the kitchen for putting a great selection of food together. Not the cheapest place in town but well worth the few extra dollars. Will be going back next time in town.

Terrible customer service. Bernie took our order and then didn't bother to double check if it was correct since we were in a group of 10. Our initial order for a child did not come until 1.5 hours later and it was the last dish to come through. He also made a mistake by serving 2 extra dishes that we did not order and then those dishes were given to other tables as a complimentary dish. Our table received bad service and it was there mistake and we did not get an apology or anything. (FYI This can be seen on CCTV footage). We had to reorder 2 other times to make sure it was the correct order. The waiters behaviour felt like he didn't want to serve us. The drinks came half an hour later when all you had to do was open the cap. It felt racist towards us and i felt uncomfortable. Hopefully the person can learn and reflect of this and be mindful when serving in the future.

Amazzzzing food, interesting wines, relaxed service. Happy to serve us lunch at 3pm.

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary at this great little restaurant last night. The menu was extensive and the service was both friendly and attentive. Dom impressed us with her knowledge of the menu and her nothing was too much trouble attitude. Food was also fantastic. We will be back.

A great all-around experience. The staff were very helpful, and the food and beverages were way beyond our expectations. Amazing!

The waiter was unpleasant and it felt it was more racist and could not get anything right and it delivered the 3 food items after an hour late after making a mistakes. Just could not believe our experience was really bad. Also never even returned to our table to ask if the food ok and 9f we needed anything. But made it to other tables.

After a number of previous pleasant dining experiences at Eighteen Sixty, I decided to take some friends for lunch today to show them what they’ve been missing out on. As always, the food was delicious, the service was friendly and on point, and the knowledge of their variety of wine was impeccable. As always, thank you for a wonderful experience!

Love the sardines! Always love your food since the 1st time I dine on 2nd Jan hence I came back again. Keep it up.and I will.come back when I can

Small plate of food for big price I have to go to next door kebab shop to fill myself long time waiting if I can have minus stars I would, waiters attention wasn't good.

Delicious food, great wine and really cosy atmosphere. Feels like the best of the city in the country. Service was great and really accommodating. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

We visited this restaurant with friends on the recommendation of another friend and it did not disappoint. It was in the middle of Omicron so they were short-staffed but they were as attentive to us as they could be with two wait staff managing the entire premises. Most importantly the food was delicious! We are self-confessed foodies and we were very impressed with everything that came to our table. It was modern, tasty and generous. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous dinner at this restaurant.
Enjoyed a share platter of local delicious foods, shared a tasty pasta, ending with a dessert each. So tasty and fresh and generous servings. Will certainly come back. This is a wonderful addition for Nagambie.

We were well looked after by fabulous staff especially since there was a large group in the restaurant. The menu is short and perfect, the steak was amazing and the pasta was delicious. Loved the local wine list with enough variety to suit us by the glass or by the bottle. Also being able to buy a bottle to take home was great.

We had the best experience - it had been on our wishlist since opening, and happy to say it didn't disappoint. The menu was exciting and food was delicious. The staff were welcoming and very conversational - it was clear they loved the place, and we had a great time. Will be back as soon as possible!

Wow. My partner and I went to Eighteen Sixty this past Sunday evening as I stumbled upon this spot on social media a few weeks prior to our trip. I must say hands down the best dinner I've had in ages and dare I say ever in Victoria. We absolutely loved the kingfish special & scallops as our starters and our mains were impeccable. The service was so refreshing and they were super knowledgeable when it came to the wine list. 100% will be making the drive out from Werribee again soon.

Love the atmosphere, the wine, the staff, and the food is amazing. The squid ink pasta and the goat orecchiette are the go to, but don't go past the entrees either, the salmon is our favorite with Box Grove Capers (thanks Sarah) and the dessert I love is the yoghurt pannacotta with the local honey (thanks Vivienne)
