Eight Acres Lakes Entrance

We really enjoyed our weekend away at Eight Acres. Our glamping tent was so well set up and comfortable, and it was great fun to feed the animals in the morning. Pete and Ellis were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed, including some advice for local spots to check out. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away, and will be back!

Family friendly, relaxing, clean accommodation.
Has everything you need. Kids loved feeding the animals and hunting for fresh eggs. Pete is down to earth and friendly.

Beautiful place! Love the accommodation and surroundings. The best part is the kitchen is fully equipped. Owner is super friendly and we really enjoyed our stay there. Love it!

I’m loving taking in the breathtaking scenery and serenity of the land down under and bushland setting, in one of the 7 coastal cottages, which is only minutes away from the beach!

Never a dull moment at Eight Acres. Keeping my team and I entertained with so many activity’s and things to do - this is the perfect friends, family or romantic getaway! (There’s even the Wed Shed, for those wanting to say “I do”)

Play Giant Jenga, Bocce or a game of hook & ring toss around the fire pit at night after splashing around the pool and enjoying the funky pool shed. I can’t wait to feed the farm animals in the morning

Awesome venue with fantastic staff, very family orientated, and the coolest dog in the whole of lakes entrance.

Stayed for 4 nights with my wife and 2 young boys. Had a fantastic time. Cottage is clean and comfortable. Kids loved the pool, playground, games area and roasting Marshmallows in our own firepit! Highlight was most definitely waking up every morning to feed the animals and collecting the eggs. Thanks for a great stay Pete and Ellis. Will definitely be back!

Stayed here with my wife and two kids was so relaxing and fun. Great pool area for a lazy few days. Farm animals were great for the kids.

Had a great stay even though we had heavy rain the whole weekend. Ellis and Pete went out of their way and bought board games for the tent to keep us entertained. Very comfortable spacious tent. We will be back for sure!

What a great spot! Was great to get away and we couldn't believe how beautiful the place is! The hosts were so welcoming and Pete even took time out of his day to show us around. Looking forward to coming back in early 2022!

What a fantastic getaway! Truly a hidden gem. I really can not rate this place high enough. With super comfy beds, warm and friendly owners, amazingly picturesque scenery and well thought out facilities only a 5 minute drive to Lakes entrance. My new favourite holiday destination and I can't wait to return. Thank you to the team at Eight Acres for making a weekend to remember!

So glad we found this spot! Cosy and clean accomodation right near the beach. Hosts were happy and helpful. The morning animal feeds were a big hit with the kids.

Fantastic place if you love animals, chooks, Alpacas, sheep Lambs and our favourite was Ray the billy goat. The doggies loved their holiday and we thoroughly recommend eight acres. Looking forward to our next visit.

Loved our stay at the coastal cottage. Pete and Ellis are incredible hosts. The property is incredibly peaceful and getting to feed the animals in the morning was good fun!

Such a beautiful place. The vibe is on point. Super relaxing and rejuvenating. Glamping is set up perfectly. Very luxurious and such a cute place to stay. There's an electric blanket to keep you warm on a cold night too. Towels and toiletries provided. Everything you need is provided. This stay has been really thoughtfully put together. Defs recommend coming and experiencing this place. Mad props to the owner (who happens to be really friendly too btw).

Nice place for family. Small farm. Friendly people and animals. Kids got a chance to feed farm animals and wild birds. Neat and clean houses. Will visit again.

Very family friendly place, loved the stay. Its calm, quiet and only 10 mins from the noisy hub.
Kids could roam free and the farm animals were an added bonus. Would visit again. The owner is helpful and friendly (do ask if you need something). The cottage is large, complete with the outdoor BBQ and firepit. The gas cook inside has seen better days but that didn't really worry us).

Tbis is a spacious peaceful place to stay wkth the bonus of some farm animals to feed etc. A beautiful pool and entertaining area caps it off.
