Eight Acres Lakes Entrance

Great place if the weather is good, it thunder stormed the day we were there and there is not enough shelter.

We had a wonderful stay here. The Forrest Cottage was lovely and has a great view of the bird feeders.
The animal farm was lovely and the fresh eggs we collected were so yum! We will definitely be back the next time we are going to Lakes Entrance.

We totally loved this place on our roadtrip from Melbourne to Sydney. Which we could’ve stayed longer. We only had one night here. Everything is perfectly organised with eye for detail. You can see and feel the love the owners put into this place. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a home away from home.

Our time at Eight Acres was the first time we did Glamping & I have to say that our standards are now high!
An amazing camp, with all the essential amenities, the surrounding grounds are beautiful & the animals are soooooo cute!
We will definitely be back & hopefully convince our Teenagers to tag along!

Place is absolutely beautiful, the cabins are very spacious in a picturesque location not too far from town. Would recommend and prices are very reasonable

Eight Acres offers so much more than just a place to stay it was a whole experience. Feeding the farm animals, collecting fresh eggs, feeding the parrots from the cottage deck, swimming in the pool and playing on the playground were all such a hit with the kids (and the adults), the fire pit at the front of the cottage really topped it off. Ellis and Pete were incredibly accommodating and the cottages were immaculate. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to return one day soon.

Beautiful hidden gem only 10 mins out of town. Perfect spot to relax and unwind. Property is beautiful

My friend and I were Glamping with Eight Acres. Genuinely the most fun and most amazing experience ever!
The tents were a good size, amenities were clean, pool was a bonus and overall service was amazing. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The farm animals were cute and the atmosphere, calm, serene and just absolutely amazing.
Definitely leaving with some great memories!

What a place!
When hunting for wedding venues we stumbled across this place and after first look locked it in. We could not of asked for a better venue or better hosts to work with. From the stunning little white cabins, the farm animals, the perfectly situated glamping tents, the wedshed that is already perfect before styling, the pool and the pool house. This place is pure perfection! This was the wedding venue of my dreams being able to have everything in one place and my nearest and dearest staying onsite with us for 3 days was perfect. Our own little wedding festival. Massive thank you to Pete and Ellis for creating this magical space and everything you guys did to make our dream day come true. I couldn’t recommend this place more. This place deserves more than five stars

My daughter recently had her wedding at Eight Acres and what an incredible experience. The hosts were so accommodating around everything we needed and the venue looked amazing when we arrived.
The belle tents were beautifully appointed and the beds were super comfy. The shower in the pool house was wonderful. We loved the pool house. It was a great building to get wedding ready. Thank you to the team at Eight Acres

We stayed in the glamping village at Eight Acres and loved our tent! It was quite hot then cold at night but the tents had both a fan and an electric blanket to make our stay more comfortable.

Loved the games provided in the tent and the bathroom care kits were a great touch. Had fun feeding the farm animals in the morning and walking around the beautiful space.

Would highly recommend, good value and great location in Lakes Entrance.

Amazing location we reached at 9pm when it was dark and the led rope lights were on and the whole place looked so magical like we're all alone in the woods.
Friendly staff, interactive activities for kids, personal firepits, self contained kitchens, animal feeding. Only thing i found was there was no replenishment of milk for the two nights we stayed. (200mL supplied) and towels weren't changed next day but leaving those minor things aside, we would definitely recommend this place and visit again in the future.

WOW great place to stay, super responsive hosts and all. Lovely farm animals, family and 4 leg frens friendly. Clean and comfy cottages. Loved it.

Never done Glamping before, but one of the best experiences I've had. In amongst nature, in a tent, with farm animals. The owners have done such a great job with the set up.

Such a brilliant place to stay, peaceful and plenty of space. Very easy to access and check in and only a short drive into lakes. Absolutely love their goats and animals which you can see in the back paddock. Definitely recommend.

Perfect location for a family get away, close to pubs and lakes Entrance main strip, and the beach. Without the hassle and bustle.

It is always disappointing when the photos of a property are better than the reality. So to start with the good - the place is spotlessly clean, its in a nice quiet location and being able to visit the farm animals is a delight. Now to the not so great - the beds were not comfortable - one was firm the other I would classify as rock hard. There is no excuse for hard beds in this word of relatively cheap bed toppers. The shower is ridiculously small - so much so my travelling companion who is 6'3'' and well built could not fit so did not shower. At 5'7'' it was a squeeze for me - I am not sure of the dimensions but it was only as deep as my arm - so less than 70cm and not much wider. The small and old reverse cycle air-conditioner struggled to keep the drafty cottage warm during our winter stay. The place is a lot older and more tired then the artfully taken photos show. What we wanted was a warm place to stay, comfy beds and a good shower - we got none of these so a fail for us.
