Used to come for a breakfast /lunch
But it looks like management has changed? Staff are not friendly nor welcoming
Ordered food and drinks to eat in
But they said u can’t eat if u ordered form this menu it is for take away? So we ordered food and we can’t eat it with our drinks how pathetic?

Gorgeous store with quality products. I enjoyed a really flavourful meal and well made coffee, and my experience made even better by the friendly staff.

So it warrants 4 1/2. It's got great atmosphere, sells fabulous take away produce as well as providing delicious food and excellent coffee in store. We want this to be our local go -to place when we move to Strathdale.

Love Edwards, the service is great! Food can sometimes be a little hit and miss at times.but i still find my way back there.so its worth it.

Great menu selection for meals with fast service even when busy. Good fresh produce with a lot of local options in the deli fridge, and in fruit and veg (some in plastic, but most not). Wide range of gourmet pantry items and prepared meals to take home.

Lovely place and lovely people as we know them.but not so lovely today 29 Dec between 9: 30 to 10am. My wife and I decide to go there early for a coffee before their peak time.half the seats/places unoccupied when we arrived so my wife sat at an empty table and I want to order our coffee.waitress (no idea of her name, but she had a tattoo on her right forearm) came and told my wife this place is reserved (no reserve sign though) and ask her to move to to one of two choices (later I learn from my wife it was not in a friendly approach). I turned my head to see my wife standing there confused and I asked her what the matter, she told me what happen, she saw us talking she came to us to confirm that the only available (not reserved) place are the two next to the kitchen table which are not my desirable place anyway.so I pointed to an empty table 8 in front of me, she said let me check to see if it is reserved or not, then came back to told us the good news.yahoo it is not reserved and we can set at there.well, it ended that we just took our coffee in a hurry not feeling great and left within 15 minutes.still third of seats/tables unoccupied yet and I been there many times before, I rarely notice any reserve place/table.so please if you have a reserve table/put a sign there, there is no need to make your customers feel unwelcome or puzzled.and please train this girl to have nicer approach to the customer. She knows and we know there was no reserve to any table when we were there.it is just her wanting to pleased her self and play a bit bossy. I think or at least that what we both felt.

The service was quite fast, not a long wait at all. Everything on the menu looked very nice. The staff are friendly and the waiters/waitresses are always smiling. The atmopshere in Edwards Providore is welcoming and cozy. Not too expensive either. Would definitely recommend coming here!

Excellent café experience.
I’ve found that the service is consistently friendly and efficient, the coffee is great, and they have a range of tasty meals and all-too-tempting treats available. Definitely worth checking out the menu specials. My only small quibble is that it would be nice to have some additional kid-friendly options available.

Make sure you allow yourself time to check out the fantastic range of groceries, fresh food, and gift ideas they have on offer.

It's a nice environment if you don't mind it being incredibly noisy and hard to hear when it's busy but, the staff are friendly and the food is good so it makes up for it

Food and coffee are delicious. Very very very popular, despite being a cafe next to a supermarket. Book to guarantee a table otherwise you will likely be let down, especially weekends. Also have a great range of take away products. Staff are pleasant and happy

Excellent full-flavoured black coffee with decent krema. Comfortable seating, easy & relaxed atmosphere. Good customer service & friendly staff. Great options for snacks & lunches. The almond croissant here is really worth checking out.

Fabulous food from the cafe. The Zucchini and Haloumi Fritters with a pumpkin puree, sweet potato chips, rocket, cashews, roasted carrots and creme fraiche were delicious with a T2 Lemongrass and Ginger tea. I'm definitely coming back to try the Lamb Kofta.
