Edwards Providore reviews
36Bought two cakes for my mums birthday, they were bakes fresh that morning. Extremely lovely and helpful staff highly recommend
Stopped for a coffee and pie. Very popular. Great choice of food. Had a chicken and leek pie. Magnificent
I’ve been going to Edwards since they opened, but I’ll be giving the cafe a miss now. Overpriced food that doesn’t seem lovingly cooked anymore. Waiting staff are also much less friendly than before and waiting is definitely one thing you’ll do. There are also better cafés around where you’re not sitting in a car park.
One of the better bets in this part of town. Good specials on menu usually. Service always reliable, coffee good
Where to start, maybe with I LOVE EDWARDS! It is a favourite spot for many things including but not limited to: brunching, coffee, afternoon tea, elevensies…you get the idea!
The food and coffee is always fantastic, as is the customer service.
The store attached to the cafe is stocked with beautiful produce and great gifts. There are always fresh flowers out front and the staff are so friendly.
Nice place though poor customer service. Order $40 worth of food and drinks then ask for a pie and denied a pie as take away only! Ummm what's up ur toosh?
Pathetic slice of cake. 2 medium coffees, a slice and a tiny piece of a piece of cake. All for $32
Always great food, good coffee & a good selection of fresh juices as well as an awesome variety of sweets! I love that we can have brunch here as well as buy produce, sauces & all sorts of tasty delights! Great vibe, helpful friendly staff & plenty of parking close to other shops.
Friendly atmosphere with good food and coffee.
Fruit toast was really thick full of fruit with plenty of butter. Delicious!
Visiting today for Fathers Day and once again received a warm welcome with Fathers Say big breakfast just tge best.
I had the green breakfast with Meredith fetta today. Absolutely amazing. Can't wait to come back and have this again.
Takeaway coffee disappointing, milky and not very warm. Found hair entwined in my sausage roll and when I phoned to let the manager know he acted interested but have not noticed any changes to hygiene standard since i.e staff with long hair not tied back when serving food. The shop is nice and the cakes are good.
Edwards is great. I like the lively atmosphere here and the front of the Cafe is situated in a good spot to take in the sun. They seemed to have a good mix on the menu and the food that was cing out of the kitchen looked delish. I guess my pet peeve is places charging an extra 1$ for plant based milk. Seriously in today's climate this isn't cool and they need to review this. Cmon guys time to change this.
Its always hard to find a great cafe as a solo traveller. So I usually ask locals. I was told to come here to Edwards.
Well l was truly impressed on this Cafe's decor and atmosphere from the moment l walked in.
The food was beautiful, of good size serving, and the coffee was HOT and delicious. It's also a shop to buy gifts and condiments. Beautiful!
I'd definitely recommend this place to all.
Breakfast Easter morning was a good experience with friendly stuff and lots of merchandise and fresh produce to take home. Excellent coffee ️
Had a great coffee and the best bacon on toast I have ever eaten! Bought some of the cold salads and fritters to take home for dinner. They were a big hit with the whole family. I will be back!
Was the best Breakfast we have had in a long time, crepes, pork neck, poached eggs, glazed cherry tomatoes, caramelised Onion, with hollandaise sauce
The coffee was good, but we weren't able to try their hot meals. We arrived at 4: 30 and were advised that the kitchen closes at 3 pm.
Food good. Service confusing.
Sat down with menus as told by staff, someone will come to you. Sat 10 mins to be told you have to be signed and and wait to be seated.
Great food and coffee but sadly not great customer service. Ordered takeaway at the counter and waited outside, we were told the order would be brought out to us. While I was ordering my husband was snapped at by another staff member for being in his way. We waited outside for about 20min (for two coffees and a piece of toast) until my husband went inside to find out what was happening. He again waited for several minutes while the staff chatted away, and was then told that our order had been sitting on the bench and that they had "called the order out". They hadn't even asked for my name so not sure what was called out.
On a weekend trip to Bendigo, looking for a nice cafe with nice coffee, based on reviews this place was Highly rated so we thought we’d give it a try. Nice looking place. Very very very average coffee. Really disappointed, I actually got excited as they use one of my favourite coffee brand, so I ordered two majic’s and a few other coffee’s for others.all milky and all disappointing. What a shame! 2 stars for the look of the shop and that’s where it ends.
