EB Games

I only shop here for the Funko pop protectors that are sold at $5. I would go elsewhere for the protectors but I only buy one Funko at a time. Video games are expensive, even with pre-owned. It's a 50/50 gamble with negotiating for better prices by each store. I don't know what negotiating is like here but I don't have the energy to negotiate in a store where the company sells video games at a more expensive price than even JB Hi-fi.

Better off going to JB for brand new switch games if I wanted them, but Cashies in Station Street sell switch games like $50 or less. Please don't bother with their pre-owned games too, especially since when the DS games are gone.

Staff however are very knowledgeable and friendly, hence a 3 stars not a 2.

Eb games are good plays to go for your gaming, the only thing I feel are games are at the maximum price compared to Jb hifi, target, k mart etc

Why’s the place allowed people to weigh the packs? This is unfair for those that genuinely come to buy the packs for a chance of getting a good card!

Ways a good spot to browse for pressies, and very helpful staff, the 2 girls where very knowledgeable and sweet on the eye

Had my click and collect ready to go. A little bit of a wait in line but that's due to them just opening. Nothing I would be concerned about.

Love EB. There was a new guy learning, very happy and helpful. The girl was as patient as. Everyone has to learn. Very impressed.

I bought my partner a $500 obi-wan kenobi lightsaber for Christmas, wrapped it up, this UNOPENED BOX that you would expect to have all the parts, right? NO.he opened this present that he’s wanted for SO LONG and half of the lightsaber was MISSING. Can’t even call you guys because Chrissy day you’re closed but that’s disgraceful. Not like it was a cheap gift either. You’ll definitely be hearing more about this from me.

Several issues with this store:

The floor space was overcrowded with overpriced plush toys which resulted in an overcrowding of the store with a lack of space for customers to stand.

There is no designated line area for either counter but staff will operate like there is one, ignoring customers who have been waiting for 10 minutes to serve new customers.

In addition the attitude of the staff was not friendly and required other customers to provide evidence that the staff member was wrong.

If it wasn't for the fact this was the only store we could acquire a physical copy of what we were after, we would have left without purchasing.

And as always, there is an excessive amount of price gouging occurring in eb stores.

I visited the store purely to understand how a particular gaming console worked. The staff were not only knowledgeable, both staff members were patient & understanding with my 'silly' questions.

This 1 star is purely for the terrible customer service from team member Kim. Awful at her job.

Will never shop at that store again. That ginger haired store manager is horrible. Blocked me from trading. Was told i passed my trade limit. Hows that possible? Calling up other stores and warning them about me like im doing something illegal. Their whole store relies on trades

Click and collect done for elden ring 3/3/22 ok good wait until email comes through to collect then go to store only to find out they sold the copy to someone in store after they accepted my order so now I’m not very happy
Now mind you I’m not your average buyer I’m a Level V EB Games card holder so they just lost themselves another customer to the online buying games and I was in the top 5 carrot earners last year to get my Level V card sort but your loss EB Games

Went in this morning with no knowledge on anything game related but wanting a gaming system for my kids. The young girl diamon who was working was as bubbly and helpful as ever! She answered all my questions and even gave me some helpful tips and recommendations
Will 100% be going back for my system purchase if that’s the kind of help I receive, couldn’t fault her at all

Went into the Werribee plaza store to get some good deals on boxing day. Spoke with Simon in regards to purchasing some gaming headphones and games. He's knowledge was impeccable, honest and straight to the point. Truly a very friendly guy and he's definitely a asset to the company! Cheers mate!

Had a wonderful and pleasant experience today in the Werribee plaza store. Spoke to Simon who help me immensely with purchasing games for my boys. He made my shopping experience there absolutely wonderful and won't hesitate to come back thank you!

Pre ordered a ps5 with them sold it on me because i didn't answer the phone as i was sleeping because i work afternoon shift no email no messages one phone called missed and they sold it i will be never using this eb store again

Handy for warranty purposes, how ever staff have extremely limited knowledge of forthcoming games.

I always place my orders online for click n collect. No sooner do i have confirmation email order in getting my next email to say its ready for collection. Processing times are beyond my expectations. Service fantastic
