Dyers Steak Stable

Dyers is a special occasion restaurant that I think you could so more regularly. The menu had many tempting options for entree and our steak was of course superb as you would demand from a steak restaurant. The wine list was extensive and good value also.
The staff were engaging and were prepared to join in with some laughter.

Loved it. Great menu. Steaks were beautifully cooked. We were both really happy with our meals. Will definitely be back.

Very nice, meal and the atmosphere was awesome.

I had the Oysters Killpatrick for entree, the Wagu Rump with the mushroom sauce 10/10.

The Mrs had the Wagu Rump with the scallop sauce, she also thoroughly enjoy it.

The waiter/waitresses were very friendly and helpful.

Last night was the 2nd time I have dined at Dyers and it was just as great the 2nd time! Great steak, attentive service and pleasant atmosphere and well worth the visit! Currently not accepting Amex but advised this will be rectified.

Everything was perfect when we dined at Dyers. New owners are doing fantastic job after Taking over this restaurant an institution of Ballarat. Atmosphere intimate and tasteful decor. Food excellent, great steaks cooked to perfection, seafood pancake and the scallop entrees delightful.

Such a brilliant experience, as I am new to Ballarat I never went to Dyers before. The staff are professional and the steaks are awesome. Highly recommend this steak house. The wine list compliments the food. It's very popular, so book early.

Atmosphere was lovely, with ample and improved lighting, in a congenial setting. Service was excellent and the meals were all received well on our table. An enjoyable setting for groups, couples and business. Everything was perfect when we dined at Dyers. New owners are doing fantastic job after Taking over this restaurant an institution of Ballarat.

The food was delicious, but the atmosphere was amazing! Felt like I was dining in an underground wine cellar!

My husband, Lou and I had dinner at Dyers Steak Stable to celebrate his 71st birthday.   It was our second visit under the new management.   After having undergone renovations, the restaurant looks bright, warm and ambient.   This extends to the restrooms which were beautiful and pristine.   A wonderful touch were the rolled hand towels for wiping one's hands!   Our entree, main courses and desserts were sumptuous and to die for!   The new owner, Carl is very hospitable, friendly and warm. The waitresses were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our dinner tremendously. Very highly recommended!

Great new menu and the refurbishment is fantastic.staff a little lost in what they were doing. 3 out of 4 entrees came and the 4th 20min later.

What a great experience.
I generally only write a few words for a review but I feel this needs a little more than that. It was a difficult thing for me to give this rating however as soon as the staff made us feel well accommodated it was an easy choice. The food was good, the atmosphere was perfect, we were well waited on, we could want for anything more in the end. In their own words they have just started up and were trying to see what was working for their customers and what wasn't, hence why I had a dilemma with the rating. However, given what a pleasant time we had I will be looking forward to coming back to a fantastic establishment again

We went there a couple of months ago and declared we would never return The new owner sent us a message and asked us to come back to see if they could make us happy. We initially thought naaah wasting our time. We decided that we would give them the opportunity, Turns out that Carl and his wife and crew are all over this and blew us away. Probably the best we have had in a very long time. This place needed some fresh blood, I can't wait to make the trip back after the impending refurbishment. These guys are the best thing that has happened to Ballarat in a long time. Well done, we are so glad to have made the effort to go back.

We regularly visit Ballarat for the footy and a sneaky weekend getaway however this was the first time eating at this restaurant and couldn’t be happier! Staff were amazing.very attentive and accommodating, food was delicious.cooked to perfection and the wine list on trend with lots of options!

We both had entree, main and dessert: fillet steak and mushroom pie, mine was the duck with orange YUM! Was sooooo good. Very happy!

What a great team of people running this fabulous little restaurant... Good service & smiling friendly staff.
