Loved this place! We ordered the banquete, vegetarian and traditional. Everything was delicious, portions are big! Good prices too. Highly recommend.

Dined here tonight. Food was average but the service was appalling. Took us almost 2 hours to be served a banquet and that’s with getting our dessert to take away. Lots of staff not doing much. Being in hospitality, I can understand delays due to short staff issues but it was the first to see delays with over staffed restaurant.

Very legit Lebanese. Excellent food, well priced drinks. Will be back for sure. A suburban gem!

I celebrated my milestone birthday at Dunyazad at a private function with 75 guests and from t.he very first phone call I made to enquire about the availability to the day after the function, it was nothing short of perfection I experienced from Vicki (Venue Manager) and his team. Besides being a BYO location and local for me and my guests, Vicki made sure he understood my vision of the party I wanted and made sure he and his team delivered excellence in food and service. From arranging the tables to being available to meeting with the DJ, to patiently working out the menu, to arranging the beautiful belly dancer, Vicki took the time to keep me posted at every step of the way. He has trained his team very well and the service my guests received on the night was par excellence. The food was outstanding and in abundance. My guests felt very welcome and were looked after by the Team at Dunyazad. I was beyond happy with my decision to use the restaurant as the venue for my 50th Birthday celebration. I would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of having a private function or just wanting to entertain their family and friends over a fabulous meal. Thank you Vicki for taking extra special care of my guests and ensuring I had a celebration to remember! See you guys soon!

I felt like I was walking through the doors to Aladdin's house. A beautiful entry way. We were promptly greeted. I was so happy that they were open on a Monday night as it's often hard to find restaurants open on a Monday.

The food had so much flavour. We had the Shiek's banquet for $55 per person. There was a large serve of dips, then 2 smaller entree meals, which by this stage We were starting to get full. Then we had our large serve of mains and I loved how the dessert was actually 3 different samples. Topped off with a Lebanese coffee.

Highly recommend. The service was impeccable. A lot of attention to details. We will be back.

We happen to visit this place yesterday for dinner and turned up to be awesome place to enjoy authentic labanese cuisine, good enough in quantity and amazing in taste. Must to visit if you are around Balwyn. Thanks

Food was spectacularly delicious. And the staff members specially Adel, and Mona and another guy I forgot his name was amazing in terms of customer service, from entry to the delicious food till the end everything was the best. I would recommend to anyone coming here. In fact all staffs were very friendly, helped out even though we came late, they still managed to get us a table and served us with the best. Amazing staff and food thats all we want. For sure, coming back soon.

Outstanding food and service! The manager Viki is very friendly and professional. He has his team on point, ready to please all. The girls delivered tremendous service all night. Meals were amazing and they were all brought out in a timely manner. Lots of tasty vegetarian dishes available. Very happy with the memorable experience provided. We will definitely be back. They catered so well to everyone’s allergies and dietary requirements (bringing seperate plates even though everyone at the table was having the banquet). The food was beyond amazing, definitely recommend.staff were so friendly and beyond helpful.love coming here:)

Don’t order for pick-up take away.

Bad taste, value and accuracy.
Ordered for take-away, they messed up the order, TINY servings, chips are basically oven fries and eggplant was tasteless and frankly bitter.
Ordered a Kebab without the wrap and a regular kebab with wrap. Received 2 no wrap TINY servings of meat and accompanying lettuce and tomato. Meat was nice but over cooked and VERY minimal serving.asked for EXTRA sauce.there was no sauce to be seen in our order.
Vegetarian Betinjan was bad, despite being starving we didnt eat it.
Chips were thin oven fries.

This restaurant has been on our radar for some time so this was very much a disappointing experience.looking at all these reviews i feel like i went to a different restaurant- but no, we did go here and had terrible food.

Great Middle Eastern cuisine with perfect ambiance for a family gathering or for a romantic dinner. Special Friday night belly dance performance. Courteous service

Food was very tasty especially the kibbeh and lahme bi ajeen. Best of all the food came quickly.

Our first time at Dunyazad on Sunday for lunch. We both had the Sheik's Banquet, swapped out the chicken wings for kibbeh. Delicious! The food was amazing, great service by friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

Been going here for nearly 30 years and never disappoints. My favourite Melbourne restaurant by far.

Every item on the menu is full of flavour.
