Dumpling King

Always great service and good quality food. Have been going to Dumpling King for more than 10 years and they always impress. They can get very busy; but that is because they are very good. Not the cheapest around, but the value is excellent because the quality is there.

Wonderful tasty food in a very clean and well furnished restaurant. Even the crockery is nice. Waitresses are excellent.

Dumplings were excellent. Everything else looked great as well.

The staff are also extremely lovely

Very poor service and so over priced for what you get.
After a long delay in getting served they bring out the mains, a sizzling plate of beef, before the entree course. So they take that away, serve the entree, only to later bring out the same plate of old beef with no sizzle and clearly it's just been sitting aside somewhere waiting.
Will not be coming back here, many more better options in Box Hill

Good “wok hei” for stir fried noodles. Like the dumplings too. Skin not too thick. Friendly service too.

OMG, you should try the black bean meat and rice. I can not stop eating that. I think it is about day 7 that I got that for lunch every single day.so addictive. Loving it. I am happy I got a job so close to that. A+

We hadn't been here for some years as a family. Menu has changed. Some dumplings, especially the chicken soup dumplings and fried pork dumplings, are still very good, as was the Mongolian beef, but other dishes were average.

Had a fantastic evening - great Peking duck and other delicious food including pork buns and dumplings. Friendly and efficient service - the five of us will definitely be going back!

The sanitary conditions are poor, the service attitude is not good, the food is very unpalatable, what a bad restaurant!

They charged me $17 for a plastic lunchbox which was 2/3 rice and rest super-sugary pork and veggies. Was so sweet had to throw it away. Won’t be going back.

Food was fantastic, extensive range of vegetarian and vegan options. All very tasty and affordable. Also the staff were lovely and attentive. Highly recommended

Dumplings in 'spicy soup' were a rip-off. Other dumplings were OK. Beef in Mongolian sauce was approved by partner

We had prawn, fried chicken, mix dumpling.
All of them are delicious.
They began to serve us after we had ordered 10mins.
Polite staff and nice space.

Nice food. Easy service. Prices a little higher than most Asian places but food is a little better as well

Best dumpling in Melbourne! Service though, is inconsistent depending on who works there. Hence tje 4 and not 5 stars. Owner is always there and nice enough. Their Hawthorn branch however is not authentic at all. Don't like that they charge for tea.

Our favourite place for dumpling. Food are really delicious & service is fast & friendly.
If you're lucky, parking is just right outside the restaurant on the street, otherwise you can just go around the corner to park.
Every Saturday & Sunday they have special lunch packages which are really worthy.

Ate here tonight with my partner. The restaurant is nice and clean but our food took a long time to prepare. It was delicious food, can’t fault them there, but the wait and them charging me for take away boxes made me rate from 5 to 3 stars. Otherwise, staff are friendly and ambience is great. If you have time to wait this is still a restaurant worth trying.
