Dromana Estate Winery

I visited this place with my partner over the weekend for wine tasting, and was made feeling welcome by a young lady at cellar door. We tried few selections and ended up purchasing half a dozen. My partner would like me to pass on her appreciation to this young lady at cellar door for her attentive attitude despite her limited English.

An absolute disgrace. We stayed & were bitten by spiders, bugs, insects & when we sent pictures to the manager she abused us & asked us to leave! There were spiders nests everywhere. The pool that said was a ‘private pool’ was half built, overgrown & was in a 4th world state. Enter at your own risk as they say. And if you don’t believe me, messenger me & I will show you the disgusting pictures of this place. We have travelled all over the world & have NEVER seen a place in such filth. DO NOT COME HERE EVER!

Myself and a few girls went for lunch yesterday. The restaurant was about 50% full so it wasn't overly crazy busy. We were bitterly dissapointed when our meals took over 2 hours to arrive, and we weren't updated by the waitstaff unless we prompted them. We weren't told at any point that there was a large wait time, & when asked how much longer our food would be we were told 'we are the next ticket, or 5 minutes'. I haven't ever placed a bad review for anyone but I also haven't been that appalled at the service and the wait time for a meal from a relatively high class restaurant either. It's a shame because it was a beautiful place.

A place to be for the weekend!

Walked into this beautiful winery last Sunday and we ended up having lunch there. The food was delicious and the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The bonus was the country music playing in the garden while we sipping glasses of Tuerong Park Pinot Noir which was sensational! We had a lovely time there and would recommend friends and families of this winery.

We bought a Scoopon Voucher of $49 for two. Wow! There were a lot dishes for that value. We had dips, pork sliders, beetroots, Spanish croquettes, fresh cut chips with free wines and took home a bottle of Mornington Estate sauvignon blanc which is my girl friend's favourite. We had tried other voucher providers and we dromana estate's offer is the best. We also had a wine tasting and the lady serving us is very knowledgeable and good. We bought a bottle of Dromana Estate Syrah, which so far is the best Shiraz I have ever tasted. Next time I will bring my family there. $$$ for good value.
