Terrible food, meat balls came out cold for the price I expect much better, do not bother. I think they reheat food, certainly not fresh at all.

Was a really great experience - especially considering our first time in Mornington peninsula and our lack of ‘wine knowledge’! Would highly recommend!

Extremely disorganised, as if they've got no idea what a wine tasting is, or even just basic hospitality service. The 4 staff standing behind the bar looked like they desperately needed something to do. If only they could realise the 25 people in front of them were eagerly awaiting their service. We felt like we were an unwanted inconvenience. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. (This was for an advance booking of a group, the venue was at roughly 50% capacity, and it was in the afternoon, after lunch service had finished)

The older woman with brown hair should not be working here. She needs training in customer service or she should be put on leave until she pulls her head in. Her attitude is awful. She made me not want to come back. Rude and snappy. Rude to all customers not just us. Disgusting. I thought maybe she was having a bad day and kept trying to be nice to her but there's no excuse for how she was.
Otherwise the pizza and wine was nice but customer service needs a huge improvement.

A beautiful winery for a day out. Wines are tasty and of good value. Menu is very diversified and delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Came for a friends wedding, the venue was gorgeous but the food was boring and the staff could barely crack a smile. Glad it wasn’t my wedding.

Bitterly disappointed with the poor customer service. Three meals in a group of six served and almost finished by the time the other three dishes arrived. Food looked stressed perhaps a reflection of how staff in the kitchen were feeling. Venue was very busy with large groups of wine tasters but I don think there was sufficient staff to offer quality customer service. Toilet facilities were either out of order or in a very poor condition and not in a clean state, expected of a highly reputable winery.

Had the tasting, which was so good!
We ended up buying 3 bottles of the Syrah and 6 bottles of the dessert wine! Thank you so much to the owner who ended up giving us one dessert wine for free, you’re soo sweet!
We ordered a few tapas - Crumbed prawn, Meatballs, Dumplings, Brie toast and pepperoni pizza. Definitely enough for 6 people, and so flavoursome and delicious!
The staff were amazing, such great service! Definitely be back!

If the restaurant is very busy and they can not longer handle several tables in the kitchen.
It is a good idea to put a sign outside for cars that you have a specific private event.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!
If I could rate it NO stars, I would! Worst service I’ve ever experienced. There were 6 staff behind the bar falling all over each other with no idea what they were doing. Not one of them even acknowledged us for about 10 minutes. When they did, they were rude and looked like they wished they could be anywhere else but there.
It’s unfortunate, because the venue had such a beautiful feel to it and looked so inviting… if only the staff met the brief too. We were looking to buy a number of bottles to take away, I didn’t even want to try anything after that terrible experience. Do NOT recommend unless the staff get a serious lesson in civility and common decency.

Had a great relaxed day with friends sitting outside. Team were short staffed but they still had smiles on their faces and the service was much appreciated. It’s a tough time at the moment and we were grateful for a comfortable and relaxing place to catch up with friends. Tasting was great and left with a delicious case of wine. Very happy, thank you

Went on a winery tour, this being the last stop, I was looking forward to trying their wine. On arrival we were told we were not allowed to go inside as they had a wedding at 1600. We arrived at 1530. We were put out the front, on a patch of grass with a tree full of bugs in the sun. Very warm day 28. No tables and not enough chairs for the 20 people in our tour. The lady walked out with a bottle, no introduction, only announced what the wine was when asked for it, provided no explanation, and walked back in. There were tables out the front we weren't allowed to sit at. We asked to order some food, and were told that the kitchen was closed at 1600. No introductions with no information like this being provided.
At 1625 the wedding next door hadn't even started. The staff were standing at the counter talking. We could have had our tasting, ordered food and left by this time if they had accommodated us. They had been booked and knew of our party. If you are looking for good service and an enjoyable experience avoid this winery. We left disappointed and won't be returning. I note by these reviews this isn't the first time this has happened either.

This winery was chosen for us as part of a wine tour - it was dreadful. They could not have cared any less if they tried about us being there. We were shoved on a patch of grass to get us out of the way, a bottle of I don't know what was poured in our glass, with no explanation, then we didn't see them again.no selling, no care - but they had this market which was setting up at the front - obvs waaaaay more important. Awful. Will never return esp as there are so many great places on the Peninsula to go. Do not waste your time here.

Had a couple of "plates" of four each. Some lovely wines under the shade of a tree in their garden. Nice relaxed tasting.

Unfortunately the food really let this lovely venue down. Inexperienced or outdated, out of touch chef and staff are not trained to talk about the wine. We ate what we could and left. Quite dissapointed.

My wife and I dropped in at the delightful and expansive Dromana Estate yesterday afternoon, for a tasting of their premium wines. Wonderfully served by Julie, who was both very gracious and informative - all while she multi-tasked with other duties. A great ambassador for the winery, as we sampled their very palatable 2010 Blanc de Blanc, 2018 Pinot Noir, and 2014 Syrah - being our picks. Also briefed on the winery's interesting history.

Nice property, but there was no one to attend us.
They should update their operation times.

Lovely experience. Dave was very generous and kind, he took the time to walk us through and explain the wines available, and was happy to give useful tasting tips and even sommelier course information. The cheese board was delicious, with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a few glasses while we ate. We will be back for another enjoyable experience. Thanks Dave and the team at Dromana Estate!

AWFUL. Our lunch was spoilt by the constant parade of buses on wine tasting tours that arrived here every 15 mins. The steady stream of bus tour crowds resulted in poor, slow service, noise and dust. Wont be going back.

Dromana estate winery definitely was by fair the best winery we have been too!
The service was amazing, the wine was fantastic and the atmosphere was outstanding! Shannon made the overall experience very enjoyable!
