Dragon Hot Pot一麻一辣 Caulfield east reviews
30Not cheap but great selection that is fresh and tasty. They cook it for you which I don’t like because your food isn’t piping hot and some things were under cooked, but the things tasted so good it’s ok.
Great first experience. Very tasty Signature Mala Tang. Friendly staff showed us the way to do things - pick your meats and veggies into a pot and hand it to the counter to be worth Ed and priced. Approx $35 for a kilo. Ask for the flavour and consistency you want and grab a drink.
Really yummy soupy or stir fry. Give it a shot.
Came here for lunch for the first time. You need to grab a large golden pot on the shelf and choose your own meat, veggies and noodles to place inside the pot. Take it to the counter to get it weighed and pay. You get to choose the soup base from the varieties they have. I chose the signature soup and it was absolutely delicious. Mind you, it came out in a massive bowl.i thought I wouldn't be able to finish it. But my friend and I demolished the whole bowl. Hahaha.will be back for more.
Selling spoiled food
I went to use the take away service. If you are the owner of the shop, you check the quality of food before selling it because the smell of spoiled food comes out and when ingested it makes me and my family have diarrhea.
First time at this specific Dragon hotpot location. It was just as delish and the interior is very nice
Am I the employee or the guest at this place? If guests are treated with such powerful contempt by the (senior?) waitress at the counter, then I can't imagine how employees are treated.
Average food. The reason for one star as the waitress (thinking the floor manager) is making me frustrated. She turned to be super angry to me (literally yelling to me) because I putted my water bottom on the table, as she reasoned no outside drinks. I can’t image people who with this kind of attitude could be hired for custom service.
Ordered a meal together with my friends, but only one set of chopsticks and spoon were given. How can we share a meal with only one chopsticks? Also takeaway food smells weird rather than dine in
The employee who served us was very rude when we came in and continuously gave us dirty looks and questioned us when we asked to sit inside- Caulfield store across the station
Our first experience here was flawless. The service was warm and inviting, the selections were good and the Malatang broth was delicious.
Second time round was just as good. The only exception to that was the one razor clam I decided to add to my selection.
One bite into the flesh and I got a mouthful of sand (no exaggeration)! I brought this up to the manager, not to be compensated in any way, but to prevent other diners from the same fate. Even after swirling water in my mouth a few times, there were still bits of it lingering. Very unpleasant, really!
The manager did apologise and I appreciate it. We will be back regardless. I’ll just avoid those razor clams next time.
