Dosa Hut Point Cook reviews
69We order food, (Malai kofta, tawa paneer, cheese naan, and tandoori roti). But the cheese naan were missing CHEESE, and the Tandoori Rotis had no butter. Also the Tandoori rotis were really really STIFF. Me and my brother are really disappointed by the quality offered by KESARI and for the next time I'll ask my mates to look for a better place to eat!
Good ambience, Food was tasty. When you ask chef to make spicy, It can be real Indian way spicy. So we enjoyed it. Very god experience.
Tried it twice, but both times were flops. Food isn't authentic Indian. Chicken tikka had some kind of tomato sauce on it. Mysore masala dosa was loaded some curry powder and didn't taste good at all.
Just ordered some pav bhaji and the amount of oil in one serve of bhaji was unbelievable and it had way too much masala. Not impressed.
Have been reserving my feedback for a while till we have tried more dishes and tasted consistency
5 stars for consistency
4 stars for taste, it's good food you can treat as fast food.but waiting to go again once we can dine in
Considering we have been regular kind of monthly /fortnightly since it's opening I would say this has become a place of choice for a quick bite or last minute decisions. Have never not gone wrong when we ordered.
**We mostly ordered lunch, evening snacks and dinner
Would not recommend this restaurant
Really salty and poor taste. Food was not fresh and was burnt. Spices just thrown together and served
Phone service equally very poor, lady on the phone did know how to deal with customers or speak on the phone.
Spoiled pashvari chicken
We placed our order thru doordash after waiting almost 1 hour we got spoiled curry, not at all happy.
I am pregnant and after eating your food had to vomit 2 times.
Tried for the first time and will be the last I assume and will not recommend to any one
This place is supposed to be a Michelin star place. Very deep menu and great service. Had a lovely time pre lockdown and today when ordered TA
Not good experience with the food, we ordered for the first time tandoori chicken and butter chicken from kesri. I think they just fool around with take away orders. Roti was good.
Tandoori chicken was raw and all breast meat, they put the same chicken in gravy. Awful taste.
Would not recommend at all.
Ordered take away jumbo size vegetarian biryani on Wednesday last week, it was the worst vegetarian biryani we've ever had. It was full of masala and spices with hardly any rice, so much spices that after a few bites you could hardly taste the food. The kids could not eat more than a couple of bites. Ended up throwing the hardly touched jumbo size pack and eventually had to order take away from elsewhere. Maybe take aways are a dumping ground for them, throw in whatever rubbish you can. This wasn't the case when it used to be called Dosa Hut.
Absolutely disgusted with the quality!
This restaurant doesn’t deserve even one star. Customer service at Kesari point Cook was really unprofessional.i been there on friday night around 9.30 PM and requested a table for two.staff offered a table which was not sufficent for us according to our order we planned.there were many other tables remained unaccupied, they told reservation required for that. We walked away disappointed and enjoyed delicious Indian food across the steert.never recommend to go there.
If you are looking for decent Indian food in or around Point Cook - give this place a try. The food is above average and the ambiance is nice. Going by the name I was expecting nice dosas or south indian dishes - but I didn't like their South Indian dishes so much. The curries, starters, and especially the biryani is really nice.
Nice meal took our 3 young kids aged under 4, they had chicken noodles would have been good if the chicken wasn't deep-fried as a healthy option but still tasty. We had a couple of curries spices and herbs for very tasty.
Inconsistent food taste and hardly care to call back even after complaining. There were even the instances of old and smelly food being served in takeaway.
This place is soo good! Food was delicious and ambience is unlike any other place! We had Biriyani, dosa and noodles and every sigle dish was delicious.they even have a hokkah place and a very good drinks menue. Definately coming back here again.
A great indian restaurant in point cook town centre.
We ordered chicken briyani and dosa, both a great and flavourful! On top of that their waitress are very friendly.
Will definitely come back!
Waited 25 or so mins for food. Waiting is OK if it's busy but people getting seated after you getting served first is so so wrong. Just walked off never to go there again
Food is alright
But they never ever ever get their timings right with take away orders
Say 15 min takes at least 45
Even if you book catering in advance these guys are even worse. Don't trust them for catering. Highly disappointed
This is a regular place for us. We find they have good food and friendly service. Though off late things have slacked a bit with the quality and quantity of food.
I had the biryani and was disappointed to say the least. It was spicy and not balanced at all. This used to be my favourite dish here, one I have had several times.
Indo Chinese is decent. Being a South Indian i can honestly say their dosas are poor. Their service is also poor. They very often serve wrong food at wrong table.
