Amazing food and service. Chef choices are fantastic, its near to my place. I enjoy my meal there on the regular basis.

Had a vegetable biryani as a trial. It was way tastier than expected for a vegetable biryani.many options on the menu and very fast service. Good quality and quantity. Will visit again.

Goat Biriyani is something you can try here. Biriyani is not great but the goat pieces were tasty and tender.

Ordered three items and was given only two. When contacted was told to come back for the other item. This was not possible as it was more than 5 kms. But when I rang back the next day Amrit was most helpful and gave the missing item without any fuss. Amrit is always courteous and undoubtedly an asset to Dosai Hut.

Was regular here but recently had a bad experience with one of their staff (I was asking for mirchi ka salan for egg friedrice) and he said he will not give the one for me because it is only for biryani and if he wants to give he would charge 2 dollars for that. Very rudely. And I also took a plate of mirchi bhajji for take away which is not all fresh. I really believe that they are minimum 2 days old and check them in the bin.

This is our new go to place, have been coming to this place frequently nowadays. My wife loves idli sambhar here. We have also had biryani and dosa at this place, it is so yummy. 5 stars for Amrit who provides wonderful service and going beyond expectation. Thank you Amrit. Will definitely be returning soon.

Decent food, however they don’t have many options to choose from as compared to their other branches!

My husband and I had lunch there on Saturday and our first time eating this style of food! Walked in and it was very plain and a little ’grotty’ ‘tacky’ and I thought, ’ gee I hope kitchen is clean’? Just gave me that vibe? But went to table and all very clean etc. Staff were extremely helpful!:) we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed, rolled out the door! Delicious! *! I just feel you need to give it a tidy / spruce up, door had dirty marks, , windows and that door need a clean, interior just needs a little more pzzzazzz! Soft drink Cans piled up in the dining area etc, not really very stylish? But food was delicious!

Usually the butter chicken is nice and good pieces of it in my take away. This time the chicken is not where to be seen, maybe 3 pieces in it plenty sauce off course but hardly any chicken. Very disapointed as i have been going there often for the last 2 years. This time is 1 star for you.

We went there expecting 0 service and we were not disappointed, we did got 0 service, however we had better hopes from food, but it was very average.

This branch on Barkly St in West Footscray is one of many outlets of this chain of Indian restaurants. The place is clean and unassuming. Parking onstreet can be a challenge particularly during dinner time. Good spread available from their menu. This time we ordered gobi briyani with samosa chat as entree. Both are tasty. Service is friendly although during to the busy dinner time, they are stretched and we have to get their attention.

Amazing floor service by Aman and Priyanka, very helpful and polite. And, as always excellent food by Mala, Kittu and Tejji. Highly recommended.

I love the way they do Chicken 65 Biryani and how you can choose the hotness of the dish (mild-hot). Staff were friendly and helpful if you have any questions when choosing a dish.

The samosa was to die for. I'm usually not a fan of the vegetable variant, but they killed it. The chicken biryani was also amazing. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is the first and original Dosa Hut and it lives up to its expectations. Authentic Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. Need to up their customer service though. Just a little customer oriented service is lacking. Hopefully up their game and will receive constant 5 stars I guess

Food and Customer Service was the best I have ever experienced in my life. Restaurants in India don't stand a chance! Dosa Hut for life!

Ordered by phone and requested a FRESH samosa, having been given old, stale samosas from the warmer on previous occasions. The person who took the order assured me that it would be FRESH. The Samosa I was given was NOT FRESH. It had been sitting in the warmer for some time. It was not crisp and was not hot. When I called to enquire, I was told that the FRESH samosas had just been made. When I asked why they gave me a stale samosa instead of the FRESH samosa which I had been promised, they seemed to think that it was somehow my problem, not theirs. I DO NOT recommend this place. The quality of their food is below average and the lack of care and concern shown by the staff is abysmal. This is the last time I hand over my hard-earned money to this hole in the wall dump of a "restaurant".

Food is quite good, the place is clean and the staff members are very cooperative and friendly.

Smelly food was fried in a cheap oil, I guess. Staff was completely unprofessional, don't know she smile that way usually or we were looking funny, but that was a weird behaviour.mosquitos and flies everywhere, tables were sticky. I had to shower after coming back from there, really hope we don't get sick
