Great Italian style pizza, good outdoor eating area on a warm afternoon. Our 2nd time here. Pizza is ready in minutes. We’ll be back

Went for dinner on a Thursday. Walk-in no booking. They shuffled tables to fit us in and service was prompt and friendly. Water, bread and oil dips came almost immediately and drinks were served quickly too. Mains were fantastic - linguini marinara always my favourite and they didn’t disappoint. Staff we very busy but attentive and friendly. Could not fault their quality or service. Had takeaway several times during lockdown but good to be able to dine in again. Hasn’t disappointed us yet. Will be back.

Food has always been fine here but service was terrible. Online order was not even noticed until I came for pick up. No apology. Complete indifference from staff. Did not even give me the bottle of wine that I ordered and paid for online until I asked.
No worth it

Absolute Rip off $20 for a very small margarita pizza.

Taste is nice bit not $20 worth of pizza.

This place use to be very good.

Food and service were average. Ambience was nice.
We went for a late lunch so it wasn't very busy. Drinks took as long to make as what it did for the food to come out.
I have to say my expectations were pretty high on what I thought the pizzas would be but I was dissapointed. Everyone ordered pizzas bar one and all had similar feedback. I ordered the new York which was average and dry. My daughters chips had been fried for to long so there was no fluffy potato left at all on the inside just the crispy outside. The doughnuts were surprisingly bland aswell. Service was slow and ordinary. No one asked how the meal was, just took payment and off we went.

Whilst I have enjoyed doppio zero before unfortunately this experience was underwhelming.

On entering it was clear a space hadnt been made for our booking. Hardly even spoke to the waiter she left us wondering and confused.waited over 30 minutes for drinks (the women behind the bar were laughing and chatting on their phones) and it took up to over an hour to be asked if we wanted to order.the food was tasty however, we had to rush our meals. The portion sizes were too small for the price. We are disappointed that no one checked in with us, or even offered us another drink or any tap water.
We felt overlooked and unimportant.

The food was delicious and service impeccable. We had two pizzas, linguine marinara, rocket & pear salad, and the best pannacotta I've ever eaten. Thanks

Update: post lockdown DZ is popular and busy.
Which means that the staff is under pressure. This led to me standing around for 5 minutes despite arriving at the advised time to collect a take away order. Whilst I could see my 4 pizzas sitting on the kitchen counter all this time I was ignored by staff. When I finally got home the pizzas were pretty cold. Not on par with my previous review unfortunately. If you charge a premium price for a product the service needs to be premium too. I might revert back to DOC.

Had a last minute family lunch here today and it was amazing. The service was impeccable and the food divine. We called in with no expectation of getting a table and we were welcomed and seated immediately. Within a minute we had water, fresh bread, olive oil and balsamic reduction in front of us while we perused the menu. Our gnocchi and pizzas were delivered in record time from ordering and nothing we ate could be faulted. The staff, venue and food will see us return as regulars. Thank you

Booked in for a lovely night for my friends and myself and upon walking in, was unpleasantly shocked. Our first interaction with the waitress was poor, we were dismissed and thrown on an unset table (even though we had made a booking prior). We waited 20 minutes for any further interaction and with that came water and menus and we ordered our drinks. After waiting 30 minutes for our drinks to come, we noticed the staff were on the their phones and not preparing anything. Finally our drinks came and we were able to order our meals. Another 50 minutes goes by and our food arrives but they were inconsistent with what was promised on the menu….
This place has the potential to be brilliant, food was amazing (credit to the chef’s) but seriously need to make sure their staff know how to actually work in hospitality and put customer service first.

Quite possibly the best Neapolitan-style pizza on the peninsula. Their bases are amazing - light, chewy inside, crunchy outside, with the perfect amount of charcoal. They're frequently busy (for good reason) but are always courteous and accommodating. We're stoked to have Doppio so close to home. Please don't change a thing!

Food took a while to come, pizza was Abit doughy and soggie. Ordered marinara and it was bad as it was full of shells and broken pieces in the pasta. Bit pricey to my experience.

Got take away pizzas. The restaurant looks really cozy. Our pizzas were well made with a nice thin crust. But toppings weren't great. Will give it another shot though

My mother and father celebrated their 40th Wedding anniversary at Doppiozero tonight and they had a lovely night. Food was fantastic and even better the service was first class. Thanks to Mia who took the original booking and Anita and staff who looked after them. We'll be back soon

Really enjoyed dinner here with the family. Delicious food and an excellent selection of locally sourced wines.

We did ourselves a huge favour coming here after so many friends recommended Doppiozero, flavour, flavour, flavour and fantastic service, we could not have asked for better and there were 3 Italian friends visiting from Italy who were bowled over by the place, staff and food.

Food and wine was great! The barman didn’t want to be here and the table service was atrocious. They’re more concerned about clearing tables and serving in order than actually taking orders from those whom are ready to order. One waitress was a stand out.the rest, dismal. Clearly more training is required

Great food and friendly staff. However, I’ve been here 3 times and have waited 1-2 hours every time for my meals.
Tonight I thought I’d give it a try again and waited 1.5 hours for my food (1 hour between entree and main) and we didn’t even receive our meals at the same time, my partner had finished his meal before I received mine! We allowed plenty of time for dinner and the cinema, but we missed our movie and had to go home. And the worst part is they weren’t even apologetic. The food is great, just make sure you have 3 hours up your sleeve.

The wait time is horrendous.
We were waiting 2 hours for our meal.
Not only that, it took almost an hour and 3 different waiters to get us tap water!
Don't sit outside, you'll get forgotten about.
Food is great, service is very poor.

We had the vegan pizza and it was delicious, it's hard to find good pizza for us taste-spoiled Italians.
Ottimo impasto, soffice e saporito!
We'll be back for sure!
