Me and my family go to apollo bay every summer, and this is the best part of the town.easily the best ice-cream i have ever tasted, we go to get ice-cream every day and it has never dissapointed.every flavour we have tried has been delicious.the staff are always friendly albiet a bit stressed by the summer crowd. Plenty of flavours and bursting with flavour. Flavours cover a wide range of tastes. A bit more “order” in taking orders would work a treat - maybe a number system? It’s good to see a small business doing things differently with its variety and doing well!

Great vegan options if you want to be horribly gassy and ill all afternoon! Stay away from the chocolate and the blueberry flavours, not sure about the others. I'll come back when I hate myself enough to.

Recommended by a local to try some specialty ice cream here and had a great time enjoying gelatos. Tasted fresh and offered much variety. I tried Turkish delight and my husband tried the one with cherry. Both yum although easy to get tempted with the variety there. It’s a local award winning place with wide display of their awards.

A hidden small store in Apollo Bay that serves fantastic ice cream. The decoration of the stall might not look attractive, but the ice cream is awesome!

Our GoWest tour guide stopped us here along the way for toilet break and he recommended the ice cream here - it has won alot of awards & it popular amongst the locals. Inside the shop, the walls are stacked with all their awards winning certs. Quite a different sight to see from usual ice cream shops. Recommend A MUST order is the AWARD WINNING CHOCOLATE! Really rich premium chocolatey taste! It wasnt the overly rich kind that u get bored of the taste after a few mouthful. Instead I kept eating until it's finished before I knew it! Also it's not the kind of ice cream that leaves a weird after taste in your mouth (if u know what I mean)

We've been going to Apollo Bay for at least 16 years during our summer holidays and Dooleys ice cream gets a visit from us every day sometimes twice a day. These guys have been making some of the best ice creams in Victoria for many many years. If you go to Apollo Bay for a visit or anywhere in that region Dooleys ice cream is a must on your list of places to visit. They are always adding new flavours to their range and they never disappoint.

Amazing ice cream, tasted delicious. Highly recommend the honey malt.
My only disappointment was when paying by card she took the card and processed the transaction without showing me the amount or asking if using paywave was ok, which it wasn’t but I didn’t have any choice. She didn’t ask, just used paywave.

Best icecream of my life. Huge selection of flavours that are in constant rotation, with new one being constantly added - shoutout to Vegemite icecream. You could literally have a different flavour every night. Always a line but it moves quick so definitely check this one out. 5 stars

Shop is supposed to open at 10am however did not open until 10: 30am. Waited in front of the shop for half an hour with no one inside the shop advising us that they will be opening late. Will not come back. Ice cream is average.

Try the vegimite ice cream! The only form of vegimite that honestly doesn't taste horribly bad! Ask the staff to give you a tasting sample on a spoon if you don't dare buying the ice cream yet. Other options are good as well. Just remember, you can find most of them anywhere. So why not try something special

No doubt the best ice cream on the Great Ocean Road. Great selection, creamy, old school and experimental flavours on offer. We went twice during our stay and every flavour was amazing. Fast, friendly service. Everything you want an ice creamery to be.
