Don Tojo

Cheap easy, tasty Japanese food. It would be great if they would replace the furniture, it is quite unpleasant to dine-in.

Have no details to tell, the taste is quite good and service is kind. The restaurant is like a cheaper price with a large quantity meal. Tasty and recommending to have a try!

Don Tojo is another branch of Don Don at Melbourne Central. I prefer Don Tojo because they serve alcohol and they accept card payment. The food portions are big and worth the value for money. All the dishes are filling. The location for Don Tojo is quite good as there's amble parking space and near the park. The place though is a bit small and the lay out is quite tight. If you have a big group (more than 6), can be hard to fit.
Overall, great place serving big portion of food that's worth your money similar to Don Don.

So good, so cheap. Was very happy with everything I ordered. I quite busy if you go there around lunch time, but it is worth the wait.

Don Don, as it's known to everyone in our office, is a cheap, tasty and popular lunch spot with price points a couple bucks below just about anything else in the area. That is, unless you go for the for the fried chicken. Somehow, for $6.90, these guys will give you a big ol' bowl full to the brim with crispy fried chook. I'm afraid to ask why it's so cheap. But it tastes great. BYO mayo and you're off you the races. Warning: DonDon is always busy.

Incredible! Highly rate the chicken curry don and it is definitely worth lining up. And the price is a bargain for the quality, perfect for everyone.

OMG, quality food at absolute bottom price, but yet the food are so great and big portion. You won’t see these price anywhere else in Melbourne, got to be the cost price.

A local institution. A frequent haunt of broke uni students and cheap corporate types the food is delicious, quick and cost effective. Get in early as it can get pretty packed and make sure to grab a table because after one of the Dons trademark Curry Chicken Dons you'll need a seat! I recommend paying in cash and forgetting about any sense of decency - dig in and let the questionably quick food fill you up.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. Great tasting curry dons and spring rolls. The drinks here are very well priced too. I would imagine this would be very popular with students. We just happened to be in the area and wanted a quick bite to eat. Service was great, fast & efficient. There weren’t many customers on a Saturday late afternoon so I’m not sure how busy it usually gets here. If you’re after a quick & cheap & tasty eat, this would be a great selection.

Don Tojo is a great spot.
A little hidden away but worth it for the tasty food at rock bottom prices (<$10).
I happily swing back by here when I'm in the area for a quick (and the service is very fast) meal.

While they have a limited menu everything on there tastes great and is cheap. The staff are lovely and the inside looks really cool with the dragons on the walls. Would recommend if you're looking for cheap night out.

The food here tastes great and the quantities are ridiculous. The staff are pleasant and competent. And the food is very competitively priced. The Don Don Box here is a personal fave. You can't go wrong with this one.

i love this place. Has 4 to 5 items that make up 20 odd dishes. They have nailed each and every one. Don don box is my fav. A bit of everything. Curry don is fatastic too. It goes to show, get the basics right and espand on them. Hands down the place i could eat daily. Prices are cheap too. Try it.you will not be disappionted.
