54I’m very impressed with this place. I meet a friend for breakfast and I as delighted with the coffee and the food. The service is also very friendly. We asked for the music to be turned down and they did so immediately. I’ll be going again.
$10 juices and smoothies that taste ok.not sure I’d rush back given the prices. Minus a star for using plastic straws and another for 70c ginger that you couldn’t even taste. Pity poor show in the end
Good service but miniscule portions for the price. I ordered the smashed avo and had to order polenta chips after as I was still hungry.
I and my friend both ordered cheese ham tomato toasties but the toasties had almost no cheese in them. We raised the issue with two staff members seperately and they offered a dry ‘sorry’ but nothing else. At the end we paid 19 dollars for 4 pieces of sourdough, a thin slice of ham and half tomato. Total rip off.
Really friendly staff. They make a good chai which can be challenging to find in Melbourne. Great atmosphere. Lovely food.
Best eye candy. Seriously all the staff look like models and the location is great near the Tan. Acai berry smoothie was pretty good.
I love the indoor-outdoor seating at this cafe, with glass doors that fold back to let in the breeze on undercover seating, as well as curb-side tables. Lots of beautifully prepared, health-conscious, as well as more indulgent, menu options. The walls are looking a little marked and in need of a paint, and the pictures hanging slightly askew suggest that this venue is more about the business than the ambience. That impression was reinforced by the indifferent service delivered casually by loud, self-involved waiters who were more about catching up with each other than providing an incomparable experience for the customer. But what's new?
Quick service, friendly, good coffee and food. Good variety of newspapers. Opens very early. Opposite Royal Botanic Gardens.
Staff were exceptional. Perfectly attentive and considerate. My wife and I enjoyed an amazing brunch on new year's day before walking through the gardens opposite. Definitely repeat customers now
Great local Cafe style bistro. It has a small but very nice menu and is particularly well suited to vegetarian and vegan requirements. Staff were friendly and the coffee was better than average. Chai Latte is also available and is recommended.
Great/varied menu.
Mainly eat bfast here.
They have a lot of healthy options/green breakfasts. Not like most cafes with basic egg dishes, goat cheese/avocado.
The blue berry pancakes with fruit/almonds is one of my guilty pleasures & a must try.
Along with their salmon & cream cheese on a bagel with spinach. Kale/polenta/egg/veggie dish, Wok tossed veggies. Acai bowl. Reuben sandwich. Linguine/prawns are just some of the tasty food from the menu.
Good coffee/ fresh veggie/fruit juices avail.
Table service is standard and the atmosphere is relaxed & clean.
Nice coffee with ok service. Overall a decent experience but nothing to race about. It's a cute french style setup
Quick & professional service. Good value for money ie inexpensive. Great location looking over the park. Our fave.
Had Reuben sandwich and Polenta chip. Dry toasted rye bread little sauerkraut with slabs of corned beef! Polenta chip inedible! Also, dry skimpy thin, & tasteless as if microwaved!
