Dolce House Gelato

Walking past and popped in 5 minutes before close. Still got serviced with a smile and positive attitude. Got the waffles.

They were good. Dont know what the other review is about calling the waffles dry.

Been there 5 times for pistachio gelato only to be told we haven't got any and given different excuses

Cute store on the corner of the road, where a line of people queuing up for some icy treats awaits you.

Had to try their biscoff or espresso icecream but they didn’t have that flavour when I went.

Ordered the coffee and hazelnut crunch flavour which satisfied my cravings.

My favourite flavour, coffee, infused in icecream, mixed with some crunchy bits of biscuit and hazelnut was an amazing combination of texture. Flavour, however, a bit more sweet than bitter than what I had wished for.

Ok 1 might be harsh, again this was my experience.sorry, dry and hard waffles, very sweet gelatos, if you like that, this is the place for you.not for me.

Tucked away in a small cluster of shops in McKinnon which makes it very accessible, this gelato is consistently one of the most delicious I've had in Melbourne.

OMG, I came here today to grab an ice cream for the family and I. I couldn't believe how delicious this ice cream was, so fresh, creamy and full of flavour. I'm not a massive ice cream eater, but this stuff is amazing. I had the peanut butter with peanut brittle pieces, highly recommended!

Dolce House is the best dessert place on our biosphere. The desserts are second to none and the people there make you feel like family.

The waffles are great though have been a little ‘under cooked’ lately compared to previous occasions, leaving them slightly doughy

Amazing milkshakes! You can choose whichever flavour you want from the ice cream options and bam! You get a wonderful milkshake with a perfect size!

Good ice cream and convenient location (for us anyway). Unfortunately they surcharged on a day that wasn't actually a proper public holiday which felt wrong, then they ran out of waffle mix by 2: 30pm (which is the equivalent of a pub running out of beer) and to top it all off we didn't feel it was priced properly in consideration of the portion sizes.

Place is a hidden gem. Lots of people around and great atmosphere.
Order at the front, and if you want, there is some seating out the back, but it is limited.
Ice cream is creamy and they have a good variety of it. Even have the option to take the ice cream home in a tub!
Parking is limited to street parking though.

Great desserts as always but the menu was a bit restricted tonight (no waffles, no coffee, no shakes). Bring back the creme brulee!

Great homemade gelato with a wide range of flavours including lots of classics. Their ice cream isn't too sweet and the flavours taste closer to the real thing (i.e. Mango tastes like mango rather than flavouring!). The staff are also very friendly.

Lovely local icecream/milkshake stop. There is a little dining room to the rear of the shop that is great to sit and eat in. Great range of delicious icecreams and amazing milkshakes. The lady who was serving us was lovely and very patient as we looked at the range of choices! Clean toilets to the back of the dining room to the rear are a bonus.

Amazing deserts, lovely friendly staff and plus size friendly seating. They also do really good coffee!
