Similarly to the other reviews, I've had nothing but positive experiences at Doctors of Northcote.
I've had extensive experience as a patient in primary and tertiary health services and both Dr Simon Bird and after he moved on, Dr Claudia Ventii have been exceptional and made an enormous difference to my quality of life.
Dr Ventii is both kind and thorough and experienced in a wide range of issues. She adopts a holistic approach which I'm so grateful for.

Dr Kun Lin Chua at this clinic is legit the best GP my dad and I have ever come across. 10/10 no joke

He's been caring for my 74yo dad since when he was working at MedicalOne and we followed him over to this clinic despite us living on the other side of town. I'm happy to make the long drive over everytime because he's the only doctor I trust to manage my dad's complicated health issues.

Dr. Chua called us one night at 11 PM, to alert us of the abnormal Troponin levels detected in my father's morning blood test. He urgently recommended that we take my dad to the hospital and even took the initiative to contact the hospital, briefing them on the situation and preparing them for our arrival.

Had it not been for Dr. Chua's swift action, my father could have suffered a heart attack unnoticed in his room, in the middle of the night, with no one around to intervene in time. My dad is alive today thanks to Dr. Chua's unwavering dedication to saving lives.

We cannot express enough how impressed and grateful we are for the exceptional level of medical expertise, compassion and care that Dr Kun Lin Chua has provided us throughout.

One of the best medical centres I've been to. It was a great experience from the initial phone call to the actual appointment itself. Reception was very friendly and professional. Facilities were modern and clean. I was seen promptly as per schedule which is quite rare (although it also helped that it was a Sunday). Dr Nina Mendoza was very thorough and without missing a beat, she had a slew of options to look into. It's been challenging finding a GP in Melbourne (after moving from Sydney), but I would definitely come back here.

Dr Chua provided a professional, caring and comprehensive consultation. The medical receptionist was kind and helpful. I appreciated the multiple SMS and email appointment reminders. I would highly recommend this medical clinic.

Very poor experience, that was kind of unexpected since the clinic has good reviews. Prepare yourself to take care of the receptionist job on your own by filling up the same request files a few days after you already done it, otherwise it’s not fun. And don’t feel bad to call them, you’re not harassing them, they just give you the full information after a few calls instead of giving everything at once

I've recently got over a horrible health issue, thanks to Dr Simon Bird at Doctors of Northcote. I am so grateful. Other doctors just didn't seem to have the required knowledge, or they were a bit vague, or they didn't really understand that suffering from recurrent boils for over 12 months requires a different remedy to suffering from one or two boils. Whereas Simon gave me very clear instructions and prescriptions: full body wash daily with Chlorhexidine Surgical Scrub for a week, then weekly for a while, plus Bactroban nasal ointment. That's what it took to stop the boils, which are caused by Staphylococcus aureus. Also frequent bedding, clothes, and hands washing; no picking nor scratching - but that is not enough on its own - the Chlorhexidine and Bactroban used the right way was required.

Very friendly and efficient reception staff, as well as thorough and successful medical consultation!

Definitely better than most clinics. The two doctors I have seen were knowledgeable and caring.

Great doctors, friendly and helpful staff, efficient and clean and also really caring. Bloods can get done on site too very quickly and easily. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr James Lynch since my childhood and for many years and I cant thank him enough for his care, dedication, medical advice that he provides to myself and my family. Nothing is ever too big or small for him and he always goes above and beyond. I am truly grateful to have him as my doctor. Thank you Dr Lynch for everything.
