Meh. Pizzas are good enough venue is beautiful. Our waiter was great but the general service was average. Nothing bad really just a lil underwhelmed.

Very displeasing that we were required to have a set menu for my family of 5 people at $58 a head. I understand for large groups but for a family of 5 that is a bit ridiculous

Had to wait for our booking an extra 10 minutes, food was average for pizza and pasta. Service was okay and food came out quickly. Wouldn't return.

Ugh. I love this place so much! I’ve actually been here about 7 times & ordered the exact same thing (albeit I’ve tried pretty much the entire menu!) & have now narrowed down to my three staples everytime I visit Mornington (an absolute must try!)
- Truffle mushroom pizza
- Brocolli & Sausage pizza
- Lasagna (hands down the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Has ruined all other lasagnas for me!)
- Nutella Pizza (not pictured because we scoffed it down way to quickly).

Ordered for 4, ate for 2!

Ordered online takeaway 3 items today 1.5 hours before pickup time, arrived there 25 minutes after pickup time and was told by a rude employee that they had been smashed by lunch time walk ins so my order won’t be long!
So after wait 45 minutes patiently as understanding how busy they were, this rude person hands me my order while greeting another customer she obviously knew, so obviously I didn’t matter, no apology for the 45 minute delay, no thank you for your patience or your $80 order! Will never order or eat at DOC again!

Visited the place as per the recommendation of my Italian friend to try out authentic pizza and i wasn’t disappointed! The food was yum and highlight on the menu was San Daniele Pizza!

You want great amazing delicious Italian food I would recommend DOC, there pizzas are perfect grate dough not to thick not too thin, it’s also wood fired pizza, homemade pasta pizza and a lot more, or if you just want some nice relaxing Italian food come here!

Just brilliant in every way. Not cheap but why should it be. They clearly use top quality, authentic ingredients. This is real Italian food. Good on them. Great atmosphere with lots of hustle and bustle. I just asked the waiter to choose a pizza for me and it was delicious. The shop (which is part of the restaurant) is also amazing.

This place is all kinds of authentic Italian. Meatballs like nonna used to make. Lasagne takes you to a little Italian village. And of course, the pizza! All hand made from scratch in house. Perfecto!

Got approached by an arrogant and rude front of house as we stood and waited to be seated for a business lunch. Sat down for a minute before deciding to leave and went around the corner to Assaggini and received excellent service and fantastic food. If you to be treated with respect and want good friendly service then think twice about going to DOC. I will be taking my clients lunches elsewhere.

One of the best pizza places around, real flavors with some good local ingredients. They even have an in house shop where you can buy ingredients for home!

One of the best pizzas I’ve had. The squid ink prawn squid zucchini combo was epic. Came back a few days later for a spicy salami one, it was not bad too!

First time we managed to get in as it’s often full. Can’t see why because the food is very average. A boring pizza and cold meatballs which after being sent back were still cold.
Expensive waste of an evening. There are far better places to eat in Mornington.

Been there before. Pizza is quite nice thats why we went there again. The only thing id say is turn down the volume of the background music, makes it hard to talk and converse. It's not a night club.

Would totally recommend as a an awesome place for Italian! The food was delicious and they even have a well stocked deli/grocer you can go to after to buy all sorts of Italia goodies

DOC is one of the best places is Mornington for Italian fare.
It is very consistent. The staff are good and it always has a vibrant atmosphere. Pizza Cornuto for me!

The Pizza here is Amazing! All of the pizzas are cooked professionally and are made just right to taste very good. They also have a mini Italian Market at the back to go and buy all the ingredients they use. Highly recommended, bet Pizza on the Peninsula.

Some of the best pizza I've had. Be aware they don't allow customisation of the pizza, but the portions are good for what you pay and the should be something to please everyone.

Wonderful Italian food. I had the capanato which was just beautiful. My friend had the lasagna which she said was full of flavour. I was eyeing off the pizzas as they came out which looked the real deal.
