Nice little Vietnamese restaurant
Beef pho was nice and not too sweet broth like some in Melb do it. It comes with onions, spring onion, sprouts, Thai basil, chilli and lemon?
They have good meatball and BBQ chicken bánh mì
The owner lady is lovely too

Really comfortable restaurant which spots a modern design. Food was delicious, especially the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodles), in conjunction with the fried chicken wings.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in the area! Food is always fresh and tasty, plus service is always super efficient!

Love their food! My favourite would be the claypot fish and seafood noodle salad. The diced beef and broken rice is also best. And their Thursday Crispy Pork special, yummy! But of course you should try the others on the menu as they're all worth it! Don't forget the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The balance between amount of coffee and condensed milk is perfecto! There's only handful places that do it justice, District Pho definitely one of them. Thus why we travel the distance and kept coming back.

Great atmosphere. The pho is super fresh and yummy. Service is fast and reliable! Good place to come alone for a quick meal - also highly recommend getting the coconut juice!

Such good quality Vietnamese food. Small restaurant, but don't be discouraged. The food is homely, authentic tasting, not over finessed but fresh and so tasty. I love this place!

I really enjoy coming here, it's a small restaurant with a great atmosphere. Their food is full of flavour and freshness I'm never disappointed with what I order. I am always served by Julie and she is efficient in busy times but always quick to notice if you need something. I appreciate good service and these guys nail it.

Very good Vietnamese joint in Balwyn, my go to for Vietnamese comfort food (either the fish claypot) or a hearty bowl of pho if I cannot be bothered enough to travel to Springvale as this is within walking distance. Also very good banh mi and delicious Vietnamese iced coffee.

Best bo kho (beef stew) I’ve had so far in town. The pork and taro spring rolls were very yummy and Vietnamese sausages had the right amount of flavours including lemongrass. Com tam (broken rice) was made very classic and tasty. Banh mi has the freshest taste. All in all, highly recommend.

Best Vietnamese in Balwyn / Deepdene. Julie is a great host:) Love the egg and tofu banh mi. Recommended.

Hands down THE BEST Vietnamese in town. Try the spring rolls, the Pho and I was blown away by the caramelised fish claypot. Go and check it out.

Always love to go to District Pho. Julie has a wonderful memory. She remembers in the fine detail of what you order before. When there are older customers there at winter season, she will ask if they prefer a hot tea or hot warm. Such a thoughtful lady. On top of the fantastic service, it's the authentic taste of Vietnamese food. The hot bowl of pho, spring roll and many others.

The best pho in the eastern suburbs! Our addiction to the pho here started during lockdown and I have been getting it once a fortnight since. Can highly recommend Wagyu beef pho, chicken pho and the pork spring rolls.

Excellent high quality pho. In the middle of Balwyn is this unassuming and delicious pho restaurant. Clean, fresh and always consistently good. I come here as much as I can if I feel like pho and I always leave with a happy tummy. The iced coffee here is perfect and I recommend you to visit if you haven't had the chance and live locally.

The pho gem of Balwyn! I visit here as much as I can for the pho and it never disappoints. The taro and pork spring rolls are a good spin on the traditional spring roll and are very tasty. The Vietnamese iced coffee comes in drip form so you can see how fresh it is as you mix the condensed milk into the coffee yourself and then pour onto the ice. District Pho is clean with fresh ingredients and my favourite pho restaurant in Melbourne.

Hands down the best Vietnamese in the Eastern suburbs. Clean and soothing atmosphere, authentic and amazing food. Cannot fault it and your wallet will thank you.

Have been eating here since it opened its perfect. We now drive half an hour to get there. It’s our go to for a clean and beautiful lunch. You know you’re going to walk out satisfied.
I don’t even put chilli into the broth it’s tooo good they way it comes out from the kitchen.

Do yourself a favour and get there.

One of the best Vietnamese Soups I've ever had! That was followed by a "true" Vietnamese iced coffee that's full of body & flavour. Totally authentic in every way. The service is friendly and caring. Menu prices are good and certainly value for money. Parking is not a problem.
