District Pho reviews
61There was a mosquito in the soup. The guy asked me to take it out and continue eating it Too bad service
Nice little Vietnamese restaurant
Beef pho was nice and not too sweet broth like some in Melb do it. It comes with onions, spring onion, sprouts, Thai basil, chilli and lemon
They have good meatball and BBQ chicken bánh mì
The owner lady is lovely too
The rudest customer service from the front of house girl who I think might be the owner (long black hair). While serving me, she didn’t greet me at all and just shoved the eftpos machine towards me and proceeded to tell her employee off in front of me, saying to him, “you need to step up, (undisclosed name) is on his second day and is better than you. ” I am not attempting to interfere with the employer-employee situation but the customer service alone in this situation is absolutely disgraceful and appalling. In addition, this is not the first time. This person is very frequently dismissive and rude.
Worst Bahn mi I’ve ever had. The bread was stale and meat was so hard. Couldn’t even eat half of it. Do not recommend
Delicious Vietnamese food. Very friendly service.really good vegetarian options
Still the best Pho in the area.
Our go to for Vietnamese food. Service is amazing and the food is always delicious, quick and very reasonably priced. Best veggie spring rolls I’ve ever had.
Decent prices for quality hand-made food. Even with dietry requirements, they're very considerate. I recommend the rice paper rolls and soup!
Staff were lovely, seated quickly, cutlery politely placed down, food was great and came out super fast. Iced coffee was fantastic. Overall a great lunch. Will definitely return.
Cozy spot, super pleasant service and amazing food! We dropped in on our vegetarian day, so we tried everything that was veg! And wow, from the rice paper rolls to the pho - everything was so flavourful and comforting. Cannot wait to be back and try their other dishes.
When we walked in the restaurant was full and they were closing in about half an hour, but the server was so nice to take our order ahead and give us a table as soon as one freed up.
You get all of this for tremendous value ($40 for 2), the portions are generous too! We came with no expectations and was very pleasantly surprised, without a doubt will be recommending this spot to everyone.
Good food, reasonable price, not so friendly staff, chipped dinner plates. But still it's worth a visit.
The food is great and has a lovely taste of home, and the service is welcoming. Julie has a remarkable memory and is very attentive. The only thing that needs improvement is the air ventilation to minimize the cooking fumes.
Came here because my go to place was closed.
Very delighted with the fragrant pho served. Banh mi was top notch too.
I came in today for the first time to have lunch with my dad and brother. Pho is one of my all time favourite dishes and I can say without any hesitation that the bowl of wagyu pho that I ate today was the best Pho I have had in my life. I know that's a huge call but I could not fault it and I'm still thinking about it 9 hours later. It makes me want to move back home to Melbourne. If that wasn't a bowl of love, then I don't know what is. Thank you so much <3
Good quality pho and speedy service. Open most of the day.
Would love if there were some tables/ a table out the front.
Beef pho was average, soup wasn’t hot enough to cook the beef and little flavour. Price was average too in this area, $14 for pho. Parking was good, plenty street parking available but the biggest let down was service. Very unfriendly and snobby.
I had their bahn mi which was delish, also their fresh juice is soooo yummy i wish there was more of it though lol.nice and quick service even on a busy day.i also am in love with their uniform!
After being a frequent customer over the years I'd have to say it's getting drabby.the torn up menus need a reprint, not expensive to do.plates and bowls are chipped to a large extent and the soup for pho doesn't come out hot. Chopsticks couldn't get anymore broken and the grease smell in the shop is terrible.
Food is great and staff are friendly but be prepared to wait for your order to be taken. Otherwise it's speedy enough. It's a small shop so it can get really loud at peak hour eg. Weekend lunch
Wow haven’t had PHO for ages and this one really was really good! I found the pho soup so flavoursome one of my favourite soups I’ve ever had and everything else in my bowl was lovely too.
Staff were nice & friendly enough.
Will definitely go back hopefully for some
PHO and some other dishes next time too!
