Dish & Spoon Cafe reviews
43Lovely café with great food and great coffee! It also has a great undercover courtyard, so you can enjoy outdoor dining regardless of rain, hail or shine. Wait staff were fantastic - really attentive and friendly.
Personally they deliver the best coffee I ever had in my life. If there are 6 stars I will definitely give 6 stars for coffee.
Food is not that good, probably slightly better than average.
Service is good.
Always something different and fabulous! Wonderful husband and wife team who always go above and beyond
Unexpectedly amazing.
Food, details, flavor - excellent
Coffee - WOW. The range, the knowledge, this place takes their coffee seriously
Service - as expected
Wonderful dining experience!
The staff are very friendly, the service is attentive, the environment is spacious and the atmosphere is very good. The products are not as rich as they were more than a year ago, but the taste is still good. I miss the steak and prawn salad before.great coffee。
Really nice and attentive staff. The food I had was tasty and the coffee was very good. The place was packed. It had a good vibe. I'd go back.
Winter Essential Bowl (with avocado) was an absolutely delicious meal. Single origin pour over coffee was also enjoyed and a strong flavoursome skinny latte to end our visit.
Good coffee, great food, really enjoyed this cafe. It was a bit odd that the take away coffees had machine frothed milk not barista frothed milk. I kind of pay at a cafe for a human to make it not a machine.
My partner, pooch and I stumbled across Dish and Spoon and so glad we did! The food is incredible and well portioned. My partner ordered the Dish&Spoon Boomba and it was fantastic - make sure you add Haloumi! I ordered the Middle Eastern Scrambled and it was also delicious. Courtyard outside is also dog friendly and shaded. The staff are super friendly and attentive and food came out quickly. If we could give more stars we would. We’ll definitely be back!
Just wanted to let you guys know that there’s a white BMW X3 with a “Dish & Spoon Café” decal on it that has been driving around the Eastern suburbs, tailgating other cars and overtaking them at 10-20 km over the speed limit. Not a good look for your café.
This place is always busy and it’s easy to see why. Coffee is brilliant, the service is really attentive and the food is awesome. It has a really nice atmosphere.
We frequent D&S regularly and enjoy the great tasting food and good coffee. The service is friendly and attentive. My kids absolutely love the kids menu and hand cut chips. Highly recommend D&S!
I'll give it for the coffee, it's simply the best, even 3 cups dsn't calm your soul. The menu is pretty good, but the chicken sandwich tops it all (it's not on the menu though, so you have to ask the staff for it). I generally dine here during the week and mostly when I'm working, it's a perfect place to just unwind amidst the chaos inside your head. Frank and Eli are amazing hosts.
Such a great experience at this place. Loved the pancakes and the coffee. The sitting areas are really nice and the people working are very sweet. Thank you for a great service!
A very popular local eatery. The lobster roll bomba and shiso kingfish recommended. Well balanced and tasty.
Wasnt a fan of the tropical bombe- the sorbet was not smooth rather quite icey/gritty and overly sweet. Coffees are great. Solid 4/5
Beautiful café staff helpful. Food delicious
Recommend this cafe for lunch or a catch up with friends. Wheelchair friendly
Busy day for the team, but boy did they provide the best service! Coffee and breakfast was fab. Will be back!
A bustling cafe in Camberwell and understandably a local favourite! It's next to a park so it is the Perfect cafe to pop by at if you want to go for a walk before or after brunch! My first visit was in 2018, I took my mum with me and Elianne was so lovely. I have been back a few times since then, beautiful owners! The dishes are also exceptional, distinct & flavoursome. Highly recommend this gem
Interesting healthy artisian menu, good service and a true cafe environment. It was busy when we were there, not great for conversation unless you want to shout. I went with Dad who can be a little hearing challenged (NOT DEAF LOL) and we found it hard to talk. All in all a nice little place, but with no room inside for prams, and no change rooms (they do have highchairs and crayons for kiddies) it's probably best suited for big kids and people.
Thoroughly enjoyed our brunch this morning - coffees were great - great menu to chose from, food was delicious, had the Middle Eastern Scramble, plus mushrooms, bacon and smashed avocado, great fruit juices, great service, great staff - will certainly be back soon! Thank you for a lovely brunch!
