Visited this place due to the high reviews. Service is good but food portions are small, not really worth it. Coffee is also slightly pricier than most cafes around the hood. Will not return.

Lovely food and wine for a simple family birthday.
Staff were lovely, smiling and warmly attending to us with our 95 year old mother - whilst still giving space to peruse the drinks and food menu.

We finally had the chance to visit Dish and Spoon and it did not disappoint! With aromatic coffee, a rustic space, and a picturesque day, what surprised us most was actually just how unique the menu was.

Here is what we had:
7 Points Fortune
A super fun platter that offers 7 different bites. The highlight of the dish was called CLARITY, which was a stack of lightly fried lotus root slices, shitake with truffle and enoki. It was light yet so indulgent with the harmony of flavours that worked almost too well together.

Bomba No. 4
Their take on a eggs benedict, this dish comes with saffron tomato hollandaise, thicc bacon, a herbaceous bomba, and a smokey romesco sauce. While its not the best benny I have ever had, it's definitely different and delicious. The olive toast that this dish comes with in particular was a highlight as - even though it's filled with raisins - I couldn't get enough of it.

Food, service and atmosphere were all superb! Coffee was also amazing, we all enjoyed our meals. Even though it doesn't look like a long menu with a whole heap fo options, what is on there is truely outstanding and delicious! Definitely worth visiting again.

Dish and Spoon is our local favourite and it certainly didn’t disappoint today. Elly, Frank and the team hosted our sons 6th birthday party in their new extended space and we couldn’t have been happier. Warm, accomodating and flexible with brilliant food and the usual superb coffee for parents. Thanks for having us D&S! Xo

My daughter and I ate here after a morning of shopping. My daughter had the $28 steak sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it (which is why I gave it two stars).
I had the $24 vegan/gf ‘essentials’ dish, but found it really underwhelming and lacking in nutritional and flavour balance - there was no main protein source, nothing sharp/tangy to elevate the bland potato and rice, next to no leafy greens (only small piece of lettuce and one broccolini steam!?), and nothing fatty/creamy to pull it all together. Based on this one vegan/gf option they have available, we won’t be back.

What a great Coffee on the corner while taking my kids to the playground next door. Great service, place was busy on fathers day, expecting long wait but it was quicker than i thought.the Cashier was taping my shoulder and said thank you mona and sorry for the wait. With smiles.its like he knew im a zombie before my coffee.

What a beautiful surprise to come across this Cafe. Had a delicious gluten free pistachio cake and iced latte and they were delicious! Friendly service, lovely spacious outdoor area and a fantastic menu to accommodate lots of different tastes. Decor is gorgeous and they always make sure to keep up presentation with everything x thank you for being amazing

Came here for brunch and enjoyed the experience.
I had a coffee milkshake and the Aperol & Blood Orange Cured Yellow Fin Tuna. The tuna was very fresh and I loved the different textures as well as the acidity in the dish.
Outdoor seating which was great for bringing my pooch, and the cafe is right next to a dog friendly park which is a win!

Fancy and tasty food. Price a bit high but worth the quality.

Love this place. Breakfast is amazing, coffee superb and the staff friendly and welcoming. The best place to have an end of week breakfast or a begin the weekend Saturday brunch. We love this place!

Best coffee hidden in a small strip. Food here is delicious and customer service is extremely welcoming there’s no wonder Dish and Spoon has become the camberwell behemoth it is.

PS: this is literally the best banana bread I’ve had in my life. I know you’re reading this D&S release the recipe.

Came here for brunch a few weeks ago and ordered the 7 points fortune. It was amazing and the customer service was exceptional as well:) also saw that their menu has this frozen coffee exotics section which really intrigued me, will definitely be returning to try that out!

We have always been great fans of dish and spoon but today they really went above and beyond for us. We celebrated our wedding there with a family lunch and they were so accommodating, keeping in touch with wet weather plans and preparing anything we needed. Our guests loved the food, coffee and atmosphere. Massive shout out to Frank, Eli and the whole team.

Stylish cafe with lots of natural wood and a relaxing atmosphere. Very popular, but there are seating options inside, outside under a verandah and in the courtyard. Service was great. The breakfast mezza was delicious, although be aware that the vanilla custard and fruit is quite sweet.

Sitting outside I was in awe when my plate arrived, the leaves blowing in the wind added to it’s beauty.
It was delicious too.
