DIG Options

Bought my stereo in May 2018, installed by an installer who Dig Options had recommended. Stereo has not worked properly since installation and after repeated friendly phonecalls and nice emails to Dig Options to have someone fix the issues a year later and nothing has been done still. New staff member every time I speak to you and no one passes my info on. Still no answer after my final angry email 2 days ago to Support so guess im reduced to posting a bad review to get someone to process my refund.

The Dig Options TPMS system I bought about 2 years ago was very easy to install and has performed flawlessly ever since. It has saved us from one potentially serious car accident on the Birdsville Track. The instant alarm from the TPMS unit alerted us to the fractured tyre caused by a rock hit and gave us time to stop before losing control of the vehicle.

After the least responsive customer service ever. That is since January 2018, David G turns up and solves the problem in cooperation with installer Shaun at Elite Audio in Campbelltown. That has meant 12 hours total in driving. I have had months of unsatisfactory blocking by management. DIG instructions are niggardly and their service some of the worst I have ever experienced. Very disappointed with the customer service from Dig options, I bought the new S200 for my Px ranger and the volume button on unit basically didn’t work, they sent me firmware updates that didn’t work but made it worse, now nothing on the stereo unit works at all and the unit is completely useless.

I asked as my right under Australian Consumer Law for a replacement, Matt refused and said it was 100% software and to wait till Chinese new year was over on the 15th Feb, I called them up on the 19th asking about it and Matt basically blamed me for not doing firmware update correctly without even providing an instruction video on how to do it.

I also ask matt for some sort of compensation for having to wait 5 weeks to get unit working and he refused,

I feel they don’t care, they don’t call me to offer and sort of reassurance or an update on what’s happening I have to call them and chase them down for assistance.

I am at the very limit of giving up on the whole thing as this has just been so stressful dealing with these people

Their offroad portable navigation unit beats the VMS paperweight i had hands down! No errors, everything works fine, and these actually come WITH a visor (VMS you have to pay $30 extra dollars). Still exploring all the functions but its a great little unit so far i love it and very well priced at $160!

Just purchased the Oziexplorer license too and a Vic topo map.

Super fast shipping and you get a detailed email with your invoice. Excellent after sales service too so you aren't left in the dark should you need help.

Navigation stopped working and sent email outlining the issue was sent a promt response which fixed the issue straight away very happy

I had trouble in running the maps of my in-dash navigation system. Dig-options support was simply fantastic rectified the issue and sorted it out within 15 mins and i got my maps running smoothly again.

Thanks to the guys at dig options for the upgrade to my unit today, I couldn't be happier with the service there. The upgrade only took a few minutes and I was soon on my way. My only regret was that they didn't have the Android unit for my car in stock as I am sure I would have bought one there and then, they are great.

Had a little trouble sorting out the cable connection for oem rear camera but all is good I have had no problems with the unit, still learning all about the features, great sound.

Received great after sales service from Matt on my DVB-T02 TV receiver that I was setting up in my Isuzu MUX. I had a slight problem with the first one delivered but it was returned and replaced without any hassles.
Just works so well on the car audio system and monitor.

The 2 Matt's or should I say childish fools are complete losers stay away from these 2 clowns complete losers! Don't believe a word they say they even swap who the manager is UNDLIEVABLE. A heads up the ugly bald one is just a sales person the other with hair is the Owner and the liar IS but denies he is YOU HAVE TO EXPERIECE THESE TO LOSERS TO BELIEVE IT! STAY AWAY.

Been looking at after market head units for a while and DIG units seem to be good value for money, DIG's sales and after sales is quite good and follow up good. I have installed the unit and operates as described, so far so good.

Customer service is great and the turnaround time is good. The owner was kind enough to answer a call on a Sunday night as I had an issue fitting the unit. The Unit itself is great. Works as advertised and is value for money. But the factory bracket had to be drilled to fit the unit. This was not detailed in the installation instructions and I thought that was terrible given that it was advertised for the specific car. At the same time I don't think they need to give step by step instructions which they do for the rest of it. Also, the fascia was very flimsy compared to the original but it looks ok when fitted. Overall, I would still recommend the seller but I wouldn't recommend their fascias if you want quality.
