Diamond Creek Hotel reviews
64This is a great little place, loverly staff with well priced drinks, met with family and friends for a nice afternoon
Greatly improved environment, decent food, however make sure to double check prices of meals. What is on their boards doesn't accurately represent what's on their menu or Point Of Sale/registers.
Ordered loaded wagyu burger tonight. It seemed slapped together, meat cold, cheese cold not melted, relish on side, stale bun which disintegrated when touched and not toasted and bun too small for filling. Not even close to being worth the money. Mother-in-law had a seniors roast beef. Not convinced anyone in the kitchen is cutting beans and carrots like these. She said they were frozen and not fresh. It was her birthday.
This is our new weekly restaurant as the meals are a good size for a reasonable price and tasty. The pokies are also good and a nice comfortable feel for our regular $10 spend. Highly recommended.
Been here twice now. Such an awesome place. Food is above average for a hotel type place, beer on tap is fresh and lots of variety, service is above average and prices are very competitive especially the drinks. Kids love the playground also. Lots of parking.
Had a 21st here. Great venue, finger food was really good. I recommend this place for a function. We had about 120 people there. And room for more.
Nice atmosphere in dining area. Good food, but prices could be a touch lower for better VALUE!
It's a local pub with reasonable meals, albeit a little pricey. They do not know what a Black and Tan is so don't bother asking for one.
FYI - a “Black and Tan” is just a 50/50 combination, of a pale ale or lager, which goes in the glass first, and Guinness, but any stout would do, and served in a pint. Not that hard, I would have thought.
I felt the seating we uncomfortable cheep steel chairs.had the chicken risotto it was cold and as dry as muhapnagandi's thongs
Horrible poker machine and gambling venue, I only come here if someone else wants to go. Avoid if possible.
The remodel here is great. Good food, pretty quick service. It does get very loud in the back area of the restaurant - wish they would spread people out a bit more.
Have done a good job of renovation, and security is reasonably well managed in this venue (compared to other Diamond Creek venues).
Not a fan of the pokie machines, so they lose a whole star for that.
I arrived at Diamo pub at approximately 9pm tonight to attend a very close mates birthday.
However, upon getting there I was told upstairs is too busy and to line up. I did so, but even after 4 people walked downstairs I was refused entry and told they were only allowing females upstairs.
I have been a loyal customer of this “local” pub for 10 years and over the years it has lost the community feel and instead chooses to act like it’s a high end city bar (it’s not).
This is just not acceptable, I feel disrespected and look forward to never returning.
P.s can’t wait to start going to new brewery down the road
We went there for dinner tonight and for $45.00 for the surf and turf, what a disgrace.
Stake was fatty and chewy with not much flavor through the vegetables.
My partner get the chicken Parma, at $25.00 which was burnt and dry.
Cook needs to be replaced, as I don't think he looks at the meals before they go out.
All round, much much better pubs out there for a meal, at very reasonable price.
We wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

My fish dish, beer battered fish was over battered and over cooked. Needs a major improvement. Not happy at all!
I cannot express how disappointed I am at hearing the feedback from the kids this morning talking about their night at the Diamond Creek Hotel. I am 53 years old and believed the days of bouncers treating young adults with disrespect had gone out with the dark ages. In 2019 it is unacceptable to discriminate. I am sorry to hear about the boys waiting at the bottom of the stairs whilst the 'pretty girls' get let up onto the roof top bar. I am sorry to hear about the bouncers picking and choosing who went up the stairs. I am upset to hear the way the bouncers were speaking to these patrons using their position of authority in such an unprofessional and disrespectful way. This is NOT a Melbourne night club.it is the local hotel. Traditionally a gathering place for locals to come together and our children, now young adults to attend a safe place close to home to avoid trouble. If you do not support your local community, particularly the local adults with respect, your patrons will disappear the moment another venue opens up. COME ON DIAMOND CREEK PUB - WHAT ARE YOU DOING? IT IS REALLY NOT THAT HARD TO BE NICE.
The food was terrible and over priced! I ate one bit of my chicken which smelt off. When I spoke to the manager, he offered a complimentary drink. As I'd already had 2 standard drinks and was driving, i declined the offer. He said okay and walked off! $26 down the drain for something I didn't touch.
This is our pub of choice every Thursday night. Sensational food, excellent service, super friendly staff.week after week. A little noisy sometimes, perhaps because too many people know what a great pub it is!
Great food. Awesome little area for the kids. Was a bit pricey for a fathers day lunch. But honestly was not waiting long for food and it was rocking when it came out.:)
Great place for drinks and dinner.nice to try the 'traditional' Australian pub meal. Wonderful color and atmosphere.
