Food was nice but not amazing. Atmosphere is lovely, though, and there is a very nice alcove room available if you want a separate space for a group of 10-15 for a birthday etc

It seemed really popular but with that comes a lot of noise. The food was okay nothing special. Really it was just okay

Says on their website byo but actually they don't allow byo and that's why I rated the service so poorly, the food was okay but really nothing special and the fit out looks like a TAB clyb or pub fit out!

With large group. Service attentive and swift without feeling like they were hovering. Food was wonderful.

Beautiful evening. Perfect steak just how I asked for it. Great fries- piping hot. Everything was exactly as it should be- from the service to the flavours. The semi fresco was absolutely stunning. Great cocktails and beers. Nice ambience- busy but carpets and decor mean there’s a nice background hum without being too loud.

This is a restaurant looking at Asians, not recommended, there is an older woman in it, very pastry

We had early Christmas dinner there last week came home with big disappointment. Waitress was rude to us and food was average and pricey. Will not go back!

I was expecting a 6 course fine dining experience with the addition of spring water from the Southern Chateù Mountain of France, but what I received was absolutely not of the sort. Their pizza had too high hydration in the dough and they obviously used Heinz ketchup as the sauce. I will be back but next time my $144 billion USD palate will be expecting more.

Our family of 17 reserved DiPalmas Cellar Room to celebrate a milestone birthday.
We were seated comfortably around one big table in a room with rendered terracotta coloured walls, happily without having lots of stairs to climb (main floor)
We received friendly professional and very attentive service, with special thanks to Penny.
Our meals, from a limited a la carte menu, were varied, met all dietary needs (we gave advance notice) and were enjoyed by all.
The spaghetti marinara, steak and fish dishes were popular, along with the calamari entree and pannacotta dessert. There was something for everyone.
There was a good selection of wines and
the coffee was excellent!
It was a truly memorable night.

The environment is spacious and atmospheric, suitable for parties, the taste is good, and the cocktails are very distinctive but the price is a little expensive.

I've been here a number of times. Always had a good experience. It's not cheap but not uber-expensive either. The menu had changed the most recent time I went but I think that was due to covid.
The food is good, modern Italian. Worth a look

Di Palmas, where do i start… absolutely lovely service and delightful food. Came for the food and left with some memories originally i was a bit sceptical about the prices but it was worth the treat ordered a kids meal with chicken strips, might i say it was very crispy and delectable to the touch and scrumptious to the taste. Wow and last but not least if i have not mentioned at Di Palmas on 684-690 High St, Kew East VIC 3102 we were served by the lovely Stephanie who must I say was some of the best service and even to put aside her admirable skill set and ability As a waitress, just such an honest, caring, nice and compassionate person. So nice in fact that drinks were on the house! To conclude if your close, far or far beyond i would strongly recommend a trip down to 684-690 High St, Kew East VIC 3102 Di Palmas to grab yourself a meal with great taste and service of the greatest with Stephanie and her crew ‍‍

My husband and I love Di Palmas and choose to eat there (or get deliveries during lockdown) for special occasions. Lovely service and delicious food. They cater well for our needs (Celiac + vegetarian). Definitely recommend if you want tasty food with good service

We have been splendidly supplied with ‘ take away’ all through this year from my favourite restaraunt. I am grateful & so glad that they were there for my family.

Take away lasagne during lockdown has been great. Can’t wait until you open up again for table service.

I ordered takeaway seafood spaghetti marina and pizza in lockdown. Serving sizes were quite generous with plenty of seafood. Quality of food was very good which keeps us coming back regularly.

Mussels were FANTASTIC tonight! Excellent website to order and efficient friendly service for pick up in Lockdown.

Why go to Lygon st when you have Di palmas nearby! One of the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne without a doubt.just try their seafood stew which is the best $38 I s pho ent on a dish in a v long time!
