Average restaurant but overpriced menu. Ordered info asian, don't have sauces with it. Food less than average.

I have no words to say about this place. Such an amazing place. Its a big yes to this place. The staff is welcoming. BEST INDIAN FOOD in melbourne CBD. Highly recommended!

I ordered a serving of Rogan Josh (lamb) for dinner and when the order arrived I was shocked to see soldiers standing at my door. When I opened the container I understood the reason. There was so much OIL, literally floating, on top of the curry that @mérïca had decided to invade it for democracy. Half way through my dinner I also discovered one of the most stretchiest substances on the planet, their Garlic Nan. The bread was so flexible, I could pull all kinds of Rapunzel shiz with it. I could've stretched it from Flinders street to Melbourne Central without the bread loosing its structural integrity. The taste of the Nan was satisfactory and the meat could have been a lil more soft so I wouldn't have gotten a chiseled jawline by the end of my dinner. Having said that, I'm throwing in an extra star as the Biryani is really good and I would definitely recommend it!

Worst service I have ever seen. Although the food is good, the service makes this restaurant not wanting to order or eat there anymore. We waited for over 60 minutes to get our order mango lassi and chicken tikka and we were dining in, not even ordering. I wish the service was as good as the food. It is a shame! And at last we have to cancel our order.

Overall great, authentic and Halal Indian Cuisine. However, the portions served for 3/4 dishes ordered were rather dissapointing and not up to our expectations. Apart from that, the restaurant has an excellent and prompt service with a rather decent atmosphere of a typical Indian eatery.

Visited this.dhabba this night. I would say veg Manchurian was so yum and also their service was so Quick and the food served was also hot.
Definately will gonna visit again for more variant.
I would also like to mention about infrastructure, it is really different and matches the name of dhabba also.

We went there last week to have some food. The food was good and the front staff members were really friendly. The waitress serving us was very nice but zero star rating for the inside members on their way of talking as we got the the table at the back of restaurant near their cookhouse and we can clearly see how unprofessional and rude they were towards the waitress who was standing outside. We heard all the bad wordings they said to her. This kind of behaviour towards waiter/waitresses is insane.

Okay this is the most torn I have been writing a review. The food. Was delicious! We obviously bought into the whole 'Melbourne man cops a fine for butter chicken hype' and have had this on our list for ages so decided to visit today.

So I reiterate, the food was fresh and delicious.

The service, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the service, the timeliness of the food, the service.was. Abysmal. The restaurant was filthy! Which might add to the deliciousness of the food, who knows. But the delay in food was despicable. And I would not recommend this restaurant just for this.

The front restaurant staff had no idea what they were doing and did not make eye contact or know what was happening. I'm still sitting here waiting for a dish I ordered when we have finished the rest of our food.

Spare yourself.

Sign outside asked you to wait to be seated. Waited for over 5 minutes then went inside to ask what was happening. When I went inside they told me they would not seat me as they had reached their target for the day.

Best food! Best service! I really appreciate staff members who are giving there best in busy time. I really like the customer service of Navdeep she is a good listener and always sort me out.

Amazing service and food was great. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Do visit this restaurant if your are missing Indian food.

I am not sure whose administration this place has gone under, but had the worst food (Lamb Biryani) and customer service today. Went to this place everyday for lunch, never again.

As a part time food courier, I have delivered many orders for this restaurant but never tried their food.

I should note that I am an Anglo-Australian, not Indian. I enjoy the different food cultures, so eating here for the first time after I finished work was a great choice.

The food was very tasty and the customer service & friendliness of the waitress and staff was a delight.

I certainly recommend this restaurant for a late night bite. Butter Chicken, Chicken Tilka, Tikka Masala, Naan Bread and many other favoursome Indian dishes.

The best part is.they're open till 2am.:)

I changed my review from 5 star to 2 star just because of customer service also food didn't get on time.

Food was fresh and delicious but, the front staff was very disappointed. Once they take order they really don't care. We were waiting our order and wants to add on then front staff said sorry kitchen is closed. They should have mentioned while they were taking the ordered. Very - very disappointed.

Let's start with the plates, you are served broken unwiped dirty plates, then comes water, dripping outside water bottles, washrooms are such a big issue to deal with, I ordered food altogether and I am receiving entree first, worst experience, Giving zero stars, highly disappointed

First time here, an indian friend invited me as he thought I would love the food, closest Indian style to the Indian food I have loved to eat in the U. K.and he was right, service was fast and efficient and prices very reasonable, loved the bicycles hanging from the cealing.

Lunch meal is good value for money. The manager could do more in terms of interacting with your customers and checking in on them once they receive their meal.

Bad service.food is good but the service is ridiculous people serving are not friendly at all.the floor is ridiculous seems like they didn't mop for years.
