Very tasty food. I am pleased to recommend this place. I had the butter chicken with Nan and rice. I left full and happy.

The people who attended our table were very knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. The menu has lots of vegetarian options, showing lots of creativity coming thru from the kitchen.

Went there for a birthday party. Amazing service and food. Tava ishtyle chicken is a must try.

I don't usually write restaurant reviews, but my recent visit to Desi Dhaba deserves ackdon'tnowledgment. From the moment I stepped in, I was blown away by the exceptional hospitality exhibited by the staff, especially Raman. She was so lovely and smiling all the time and friendly. She suggested me that I should try these dishes.

Let's talk about the food. I ordered Goat curry and naan and amritsari kulcha. It was an absolute delight. The Goat curry was the best dish with wow flavour and spices were on point, and it was evident that they took great care while preparing dishes.

I loved the service, ambience was quite impressive and I would say the cleanliness was pretty good.

Food was good specially Amristsari khulche chhole and thanks to the front staff specially one girl Sukh they served food very respectable manner and maintain cleanliness.

Absolutely ridiculous today, no cleaned tables, ordered malai soy champ, which turned out to be foul, when it cames out be turn for mains, waited around 45-50 mins to get it, with only the curries, and they forgot to get us our breads, which was other 15 mins wait, blame game strong on each other. Girls down on floor, are absolutely rude, with no sense of customer service.

I am vegetarian and very good taste in Melbourne.this is very good Indian restaurant in Melbourne and Rubina is the very best in behaviour and service. Very good nature and friendly. I appreciate it. Thank you so much for great food

We ordered paneer Manchurian which was sweet in taste and cooked in ketchup. The tandoori paneer platter was not cooked in any tandoor and looked liked steamed veggies with paneer. The fried rice was sweet as well. The food was below average. Definitely not ordering from here again.

Food didn’t had the sauces that were mention at the order. Also I made a formal compliment and they ignore it. I don’t recommend. Reason for 3.7. Unprofessionalism. Another time the food had hair and i complained to Uber eats. Matter of shutting this place down now.

Authentic taste of Indian food. I have tried few others in the city but none of them anywhere near to Desi Dhaba in terms of quality and quantity of food. Highly recommended and enjoy your feast!

Extremely disappointed! Since when Peshawari naan is full of only coconut? On the menu its expensive than the paneer naan yet full with coconut and no almonds and sultanas? Ordered the naan today and will never order this. Also, dhabe ki daal that I have been ordering from years, today had a pungent raw mustard oil flavour? No offence but did u change your chef who is trying to make Punjabi food South Indian style? Only thing that was upto the standard was Palak Paneer.

Delicious food. We order food from this place on regular basis. The quality of all the dishes is outstanding. We feel we get the same taste and flavour of food as we get it back home in India. Best place to have Indian food in Melbourne.
