Derrimut 24:7 gym - Thomastown

Equipment constantly broken for months, very young crowd who are too busy filming themselves than actually training, and some ppl really need to know what deodorant is!
Since management has changed derrimut thomastown is on the decline. Equipment needs to be updated with more variety of machines. I will not be renewing my membership.

Great place to have an intense workout. I have been to the original Derrimut in deer park many times but i prefer the Thomastown gym more. Filled with all high end machines and their own brand Olympic plates are a delight to handle. Would visit again.

Equipment is kept clean, well run and maintained. Only issue is sauna taking up room in change room. Not properly set up for showering.

Constantly price hiking whilst removing quality gym equipment at the same time. I used to enjoy working out here years ago but unethical practises and rude staff have made me leave.

Very good gym but need adjustment to the AC and the sort of songs broadcasting there especially in the morning periods. It would be great to consider using songs with less "F" words. Thanks

Good and enough equipment for the members. However, it is a lack of fitness classes. Missing a lot for what the list is on their website shows. It will be great that take care of it.

Excellent fully staffed 24/7 gym. This place is massive. Every price of equipment you could think of is available. Good boxing/sparing area and plenty of cardio equipment. All the staff I have had interactions with are friendly any time of the day. Highly recommended.

Updating review after visiting again-july2021 (now they have added dumbells/rods) it more enough to have a proficient workout thanks. ️‍️

Previous review (Can’t find weight specially for biceps and triceps (less rod and less dumbells nothing in appropriate place) you need to search all things by roaming almost in your workout time.)

Derrimut Thomastown.

*Weights are very rarely in their place. (people use them and never put them back) all the "you'll be banned if you don't put your weights back"
signs are ignored because they are not enforced.
Need more staff on the floor putting them back if they are not going to enforce the rule.

Spacious and loaded with equipment, designer toilets with saunas and love the sports attire sales and ladies' gym room

This gym is like Heaven for me
I have been using and training in gyms for 30 years and this would have to be the BEST of them, Gym Includes a sectioned off women's gym also inside️️️

No good experience the man who wear glasses who works saturday afternoon is very rude bad customer service

Great gym but they really need air-conditioning or fans whats the point paying to become a member. The manager Lauren is so rude.

Good vibe and the equipment is kept in top condition. Friendly staff. The music may be a little inappropriate at times tho.

Outstanding array of equipment, let down by the total lack of respect shown by most members, with no staff to enforce organisation. Putting dumbbells where they belong shouldn't be such a challenge

Good value for money overall. This location is cleaner than the Airport West branch and has a better layout with track and stretching area. I don't love the way staff change music depending on their own tates, and sometimes the volume is way too loud. Also, they can cancel classes last minute so it is worth checking before you go.

The other day an Asian employee told me that I have $30 overdue and I cannot sign up if I don’t pay and that I would have to go to Tullamarine branch where I previously signed up to pay after I offered to pay here. He refused to take the money. He kept on arguing so I left. After talking to Tullamarine staff, he said that I have nothing due and the Asian guy opened the wrong profile. I was being targeted for no reason and am disappointed in Thomastown staff big time. When I came back to Thomastown, I told him that he opened the wrong profile so he said: ‘ don’t be smart’ and threatened me to get me banned.

Half the parking spots are gone now due to new building being built in center.that's why 4 and not 5 stars

The matted area is a great asset for other fitness activities. That and the cheap membership are the reasons I come here. I have given it a 2 star rating in the past because they often shamelessly blared so much socially inappropriate music with profanity and pornography, drug use etc, but the last month or two has been regular gym music. (Please keep it up and this could become a four star rating.)

Good gym. Lots of equipment and eye candy haha. Amenities are good too. Maybe more cable fly's but that's nit-picking.
