Deniz Alterations & Dry Cleaning

I took a suit here to be dry cleaned and wasn't very happy with the way the suit was pressed. I'm reluctently getting it re-done by another Dry Cleaner & wont be coming back.

Returned items twice with white chalk like mess on it. First time I just cleaned it off at home. Second time I checked in shop and they fixed it. Small thing but quite annoying when you are paying to have something cleaned. I had a good experience a few times and work near by, but they were quite dismissive when I raised issues with invoicing (alteration and dry cleaning) not being explained properly.

So glad I found this place, super fast (same day sometimes), quality work and very well priced.wont go anywhere else now.

I went to Deniz after being recommended by a friend and it was exactly what I was looking for. Really reasonably priced and amazing quality. She's just an old school, traditional tailor who knows what she's doing.

I took a coat to have the sleeves shortened. She charged me $55 and didn't even get the cuffs straight. Then claimed "that's exactly how it was". The competition at "Alterations Now" are much cheaper, friendlier and better quality.

Mary stitched on an important badge onto an important and expensive hockey shirt, and did it within the hour that I walked in. She also whizzed through a bunch of buttons that fell off a jacket. Friendly, fast, very good work and reasonable prices. Recommended.

I stumbled upon Mary when I was staying at a nearby hotel and I could not have been luckier I must say. Being in the tailoring business I understand the difference in quality you can get with alterations. Mary learned her trade in a small village in Turkey and she has been tailoring for over 50 years. There is no substitute for experience with tailoring and Mary has plenty. I now have my customers go to her for all changes to our shirts and to take measurements for our made to measure.
