George, thank you so much for giving me the confidence in your skills to allow me to make such major changes with my hair. In just two appointments, I have let my colour grow out and the white shine through. I have gone from a medium bob to a short and in my daughter's words 'funky' style (high praise from her!).

It was my first time at Delilah Hair Studio. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. Client service is exceptional. All clients in there looked a million dollars. I was privileged to have the charismatic George as my hairdresser. I walked in with a style in mind, but after some (fun & hilarious) consultation he changed my mind and gave me a style that suited my natural (curly hair) look. I too felt a million dollars when I walked out. I'm looking forward to going back for my next session.

Delilah is top notch! It consists of great stylists who listen and, deliver sensational results everytime. An appointment here will not disappoint and, you will walk out feeling a million bucks.

Just got my hair cut and it's awesome, best salon I've been too, favourite haircut in ages. George cut my hair, but everyone there seemed really lovely. Great vibe. Got home and my partner exclaims 'i love it! It's gorgeous! " And he normally doesn't get outwardly excited about anything! They're all really caring and take the time to give you a beautiful hair style.

It's been a long time since a hairdresser's been able to replicate exactly what I envisioned my hair to look like in my head; but George did it. My wavy hair is beautifully shaped with plenty of bounce whilst keeping the wave pattern intact. I felt completely relaxed and in good hands; and great convo too! Already can't wait to come back.

Seriously best hair studio ever! After moving to Australia I was so scared to try a new hair salon. I tried different places and only Delilah has done the best job to my hair. I have come here for the last 3 years, everyone is so proffesional and nice. Such a happy place! Carlie thank you for always doing magic with my hair (colour, balayage and haircut)! I love it!:)

I am in love with the Adrian and all his amazing products. He is magic! I have only just started to embrace these natural curls of mine, and he asked me all the important questions about my desired outcome and regime. It was like having a chat to a friend, because he was sincere and direct with his advice. It is so amazing to meet someone who is so passionate about curly hair like he is, and I was honoured to have the opportunity (and hopefully many many more) to have my curls cut and styled by this man. I have been going to Delilah Hair since she first started over 10 years ago. I have been lucky to witness this amazing salon as she has grown & evolved over the years. I love the dynamics of the team of artists there who have given me so many fabulous cuts, colours & styles & I always come away with something unique. I feel like part of the family & so it felt like completely the right place to bring my 9 year old daughter who wanted a cut that was a bit creative & edgy & Delilah has delivered. I had my dry cut by Chloe. She really understood what I wanted and totally delivered it. I've since washed and let it air dry and it is exactly how I hoped it would look with no products or styling at all. Thanks so much Chloe!

Appreciate your reply, however, it’s not the reply that I would expect from a reputable salon that prides themselves in looking after their clients as it states on your website.

I would like to add a few points; when you say you’re filling in the gaps, what you’re actually doing is manipulating and fabricating the whole story and turning this into a scripted drama to favour your reputation. I haven't left any piece of information out and have clearly stated exactly as the events unfolded. I am an honest person and if I was wrong, I would admit so.

To begin with, you say that I came in with 'black packet colour' and on arrival at your salon was told by “Adrian” my hair colour was “virgin black”; so here is the first part manipulated as my hair was NOT dyed previously with any “black packet colour”; this was my natural dark brown hair colour.

Secondly, I did not receive a full consultation. The “consultation” you are referring to was merely a small piece of advice that I agreed to with full trust in yours and your stylist expertise. I was not advised I would require numerous visits as initially told that I had “virgin black” hair and my understanding of this is that it would be more responsive in the one treatment I needed. Nor was I offered a patch test!

Thirdly, I was not aggressive. I am not an aggressive person. I phoned in the next day and was advised by “Adrian” to wait two weeks as my hair had been freshly toned and would need time for the true colour to show through and to continue using “blondepro”. I was advised to visit again so the stylists could check this. As explained previously, when I expressed my concerns to “Chloe” she looked as though I was being unreasonable and came across as intimidating. Perhaps this is the salon culture initiated by the owner and now become the norm for any employee there as the response to my review seemed aggressive and yet you say I came across this way and portray yourself as the victim.

I did not apologise for my behaviour as my it was not poor in the first place. So here we find ourselves in another manipulating scenario again on your part.

Finally, there were no tears nor tantrums or rudeness. I was calm, polite and clear and made it known the style I wanted and you failed to deliver, but it seems as though you are too afraid to admit this and are quick and happy to manipulate customer reviews in the protection of your own reputation. This shows that you have poor customer service and only interested in the amount of money people carry in their pockets rather than how they actually feel about their treatment and experience in your salon. I guess it’s not the businesses fault, but more owners fault for dictating this kind of culture.

Your website states that you are “customer focus” talking about “horror stories and ending up with a hairstyle because of pushy stylists. You’ll never find that in Delilah Hair Studio”. All I can say is for anyone wanting a hairstyle that they didn’t agree to please visit this salon. Any complaints would be brushed under the carpet as there is no ownership or compassion on their part.

I find it convenient how customers cannot respond to the owner, therefore the owner has the last say to any reviews.

I couldn’t recommend this salon more! Their treatment & management of my curly hair was more than I could’ve wished for, I’ve never left a salon feeling so confident! <3

I have really dry and curly hair and have not always done the best decisions when it comes to taking good care of my hair but at Delilah's with Adrian's help I have learned how to make my hair look great by taking care of it the right way. It's not only the hair cutting that is amazing at Delilah its the way Adrian teaches you how to take care of your hair that makes it a total package.
Let me tell you my experience:
The first times Adrian saved my hair was when I had lived in Townsville for a while and had made some not very smart choices and bleached my hair, (*making it apear almost yellow). I was so desperate and really needed help.
After talking to Adrian he made me realize what had gone wrong and most importantly that he could fix it and sure enough in no time, Adrian help me get it back to good health and looking amazing again.
And yes! I learned not to let anyone bleach my hair ever again ;)

Have been coming here for years, Adrian is genius with colour and cutting curly hair. So very happy with the outcome, would recommend to anyone.

Always struggle to find a hairdresser who can deal with my curls and crazy volume. As such, I’ve simply avoided getting a cut since moving to Melbourne 8 months ago. My flat mate recommended the team at Delilah and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Won’t be trusting anyone else with my curls from now on and, as a bonus, the product I brought (sea salt cream) is the best thing I’ve ever used in my hair

I had a super terrible cut and colour before I first saw Adrian, he rectified it perfectly, and each cut and colour thereafter has been more amazing than the last. Furthermore, Delilah is a safe space for everyone - they don’t discriminate, and they ensure that their space is inclusive and non-judgemental. If I ever had a problem with my hair, I know I’d be able to discuss it and they’d rectify without question, although I now trust the team to do what they do best to make me look amazing without any direction from me. I love the vibe, the space, the experience, the cut and colour and treatment options and all the staff - I’d never go anywhere else!
