Delhi Rocks reviews
57The food was too spicy and the plates are with very less portion they should serve more quantity of vegetable and the pulao wasn't worth for 4$ and I have to buy mango Lassi which was good in taste but should be thick Totally disappointed
Second time I am experiencing low quantity issue at this place.
The biryani quantity was too less. Not even the entire plate is filled. Highly disappointed and regret coming here.
Unfortunately Wont recommend this place.
Egg korma – Very good. Very tasty.
Chana (chickpea) masala – Chickpeas & gravy were nice.
Soy nugget curry – Nuggets soft & tasty, gravy was good.
Roti’s weren’t huge but were soft & tasty (best we’ve had in ages). Pappadums fine & salad very onion dominant.
Comfort food at its best. Love the home style Indian food they cook. They simply make and serve the food by heart here.
Not to mention, you can't get quality food any cheaper than $12 with unlimited roti/bread and tea/chai to end your meal on a refreshing note. What else can you ask for! Its a gem of a restaurant in the heart of our beloved Melbourne city.
It was amazing plus you get free bread after your order all you can eat bread to finish your food with once the rice is finished first
The most wonderful place to have delicious Indian thali food! You will surely love the number of items they serve. & also try Allo paratha was delicious and complimentary Masala tea as well. I've visited it many times and found awesome every time
Nice food. I go here whenever I am looking for home like food.
This is a place where I can eat everyday without getting bored
Not very hygienic. Shahi paneer wasn't yummy at all. Even butter chicken and gulaab jamun was bad. Not worth the money. Very messy toilets.
Loved cup of tea.
Will not go there again.
One of the most authentic Indian restaurants I've been to. The chapathi is super soft and the dal is very comforting. Amazing value for money; for the portions that they give, it's really cheap. They also offer unlimited rotis (flatbreads) with your curry or main dish. Probably one of the best chapathis I've had in an Indian restaurant outside of India.
Decent food and reasonably priced. Most of the staff are friendly and welcomes customers with a smile. A tiny bit of additional effort could be put on the service side to make the experience even more pleasant.
A great place for wonderful, inexpensive food. They have a variety of food items and their cheap deals are one of the best in the city. Easy for students and people looking to save. The service is good as well. Would recommend.
P. S. Try the Aloo paratha and the selection of chats.
The place is an absolute steal deal.
Delicious food, amazing range with changing menu so you don't end up getting the same stuff everytime.
And chai included in their meal. Not for the fancy dining type but perfect for a delicious meal without a hole in the pocket.
Great food, great service.when a small place like this is full pf customers you know they are doing something right. Definitely recommend for curry lovers. Well done.
It’s my all time fav place to get a good dinner. I reckon this place for everyone because they serve a fresh food and it’s delicious.
I think I would recommend delhi rocks to someone who want to taste authentic Indian food specially with punjabi touch in it. Good staff great customer service.
I came here to grab some food to go, or takeaway. I had the makki ki roti and sarson ka saag. It was a filling meal and I shared it with my sister. I've had better saag elsewhere, but the makki ki roti was good and buttery. Their chai is pretty good. I regret not being able to eat there in person since there was a guy giving out fresh rotis and then you can have unlimited chai as well.
Cheap, tasty, clean, free Tea and hot unlimited Rotis.
Great value for money and open untill the morning.
Nice food. Generous quantity of bread (s) which was unlimited. Free milk tea and salad was good too. Great value for money.
Absolutely love Delhi Rocks.they stay open till late night and are in the heart of Melbourne. Very reasonably priced. Worth a try if you like Indian Food.try their Aloo Paratha.
