Delatite Wines

1 star - Nothing special about the food for the exorbitant price and they have no idea about customer service - with only 2 other tables in the restaurant occupied, we sat and waited over 15mins to be served while tables around us were cleared and cleaned. To top it off, after spending $150 on lunch, they wanted us to pay $10pp for wine tasting! Serious money grabbing!
If you want a fabulous high country wine & dine experience, avoid the disappointment and go straight to Chrismont Winery in the King Valley. Every experience, every time is 5 stars.

I’ve been coming to Delatite for years, can’t stay away the wine is so good! The new menus never seem to not intrigue me and I’m never disappointed, the food is always top notch. Plus the service is amazing and the staff are always so knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend.

Id share my experience if i was able to actually have a decent experience.
The booking that was made a month prior to today. We had a 12: 30 lunch booking outside, with dogs. They then proceeded to tell us we were un able to eat outside so then we would have to do what with the dogs? Leave them in the car?

There attitude is discusting towards guests.
There staff are rude.
This is the third time i gave them a chance to redeem the potential beautiful restaurant, unfortunately they failed once again.

The most amazing estate, with a gorgeous view of our beautiful land. The antipasto platter was divine and their recommendations of wines completed the whole experience!

Our highlight for the weekend was lunch at the Delatite Winery. You first notice the amazing architecture and stylish fit-out. You sit down after being greeted by friendly staff and take a moment to take in the spectacular views. The wines are delicious and the food devine.

The mussels are a must have and the Malbec Merlot is simply amazing.

Booked a table for 6 on Easter Saturday - were not advised that a public holiday surcharge would be in effect until paying the bill. 99% of restaurants I have dined at previously advise of this prior to seating.

Food wait times very inconsistent - four meals arrived relatively quick. Final two meals took over an hour to arrive and had to be chased up.

Lastly - the lady who assisted in paying could not have been any ruder if she tried. Unfi did not take her name otherwise it would be in this review so others could avoid her.

We loved our experience at this stunning cellar door. Enzo made us feel welcome and answered our uneducated tasting questions patiently. All of the staff were relaxed and set a calm tone for our visit. The restaurant was closed but the olives and cheese were more than enough— they even had delicious gluten free crackers. Would definitely go back, thanks Enzo!

Stopped off and had the pleasure of having lunch on Friday 18th March on our way up to Mt Buller. What a fantastic venue for lunch. The menu on offer is simply wonderful and very well presented by the Chef.

The table service afforded by Enzo is simply amazing. You are immediately impressed with Enzo's politeness, courtesy and professionalism. He left us with an indelible impression of someone who loves his job and this is demonstrated in spades. Coffee on the terrace outside looking out over the vineyard was a most pleasant way to end our lunch.

Look forward to our next lunch date at this wonderful venue.

We had our wedding there on the 19th of March and everything ran so smoothly. Jean was always helpful and managed our event so perfectly in the lead up and throughout the night. The staff were always attentive and at no point was anyone's glass not full or food not being offered. On top of this the food and wine were absolutely delicious and the view just topped it all off! Would highly recommend.

What an amazing find! The view and food here was spectacular, the staff were absolutely lovely considering how busy it was for a Monday & the poor things being understaffed but they explained this and did a fantastic job, they were so friendly and attentive. We had the antipasto board- (rosemary bread to die for) and shared some delicious rose in the sunshine, topped off with a fantastic wine tasting.would definitely come back here, love it!

This winery is in a lovely setting, with a modern and very attractive cellar door and restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They have an interesting range of wines including some red and white blends. We restricted our tasting to the Estate range - while it is reasonably priced, there is nothing cheap. The food in the restaurant was very good - at $80 for 2 courses it is relatively expensive but this is the only negative comment I would make. We totally enjoyed the tasting and dining experience and departed with 6 bottles of wine.

Lovely food, great wine and atmosphere and the staff were great. Views fabulous. An absolute gem of a place!

Food fantastic, venue world class, ambience & views beautiful - staff bend over backwards to accommodate. Must go to restaurant if you visit Mansfield.

Enjoyed a tasting prior to a late lunch. Fabulous cellar door staff who are very knowledgeable. 2 course lunch absolutely delicious. Leek tart & Pork belly & Pork belly & cheese platter for my partner. The wait staff are friendly fun & courteous. A lovely afternoon great views & dozen wines to take home. We will be back next year.

Outstanding experience all round. Excellent food (lamb shoulder and charcuterie board) and wines (we loved everything we had- the rosé, the German sparkling, reserve Riesling, and the Malbec), the staff were all super welcoming and attentive (special mention to Nathan who we loved), and the views and venue were stunning.

Really appreciate how hard it is at the moment for all in hospitality…food was good, service was good, venue is beautiful … and the reserve wines were great. Thank u

Awesome team, one of the best wine in Australia and breath taking views.

We went on a Tuesday, Wondering they open or not. Luckily they were open.

We love their wine so much, we became club member straight away. They very passionate about how they make wine and it shows in wine.

We are looking forward to more different type of wine and more of that view, with good food.
